I’ve been a patient at Dr. Chen’s practice for nearly three years, and I can’t praise it enough. Dr. Chen always takes the time to listen to my concerns about my teeth at the end of my appointments. One time I needed a quick checkup due to an exigent problem and I was able to get an appointment the same day. I appreciate all that Dr. Chen and his team do. I totally recommend this practice.

Dr. Luhao Chen is the best dentist I have ever been too. He cares and is so nice and understanding about the dental work you have to have done. His team is also amazing and they never make you feel bad about yourself. I have had several dentists over the past few years and I'm really glad I happened upon C and C dental.

I’ve been visiting C&C for 2-3 years. I have great experience with them every time. Dr. Chen cares about his patients very much. He made sure that I understood what was happening with my dental health and gave the best suggestion and treatment. Bonnie is very kind and helpful too. I’ve learned to take more care of specific parts of my teeth every time from doing cleaning with her. Everyone’s very friendly and helpful. I don’t think I’d ever visit any other dental office besides C&C as long as I live in/around Boston.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Chen for a few years now, and could not recommend him enough. Like many people, I have a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist but he makes me feel so comfortable. I have a hard time getting numb from novocaine and he always remembers this and makes sure to give me extra time. I have moved 45 minutes outside of the city but still make the trip to see him as my dentist.

Dr. Chen is the best dentist I've ever seen. I have tons of anxiety about going to the dentist and going here was the most comfortable I've ever been. He is so nice and understanding about being anxious and also has a stress ball tooth called mr squishy that he offered me to hold (and I accepted lol). All of the hygienists I saw were also so friendly and personable, I haven't had a bad experience here. Unfortunately I've moved states and will have to find a new dentist- I highly highly recommend this place though if you're in the area!

First time going to C&C Dental after my dentist retired. Office follows safe covid practices: (temperature checks, mask and eye coverings). No long waiting; respectful of people’s time. Hygienist was gentle taking X-rays and cleaning. Dr. Chen explained in detail through X-rays the overall health of my teeth. I would recommend.

Dr. Chen is really what every dentist and doctor should strive to be. After the most pain-free cleaning I've ever had from the very friendly hygienist, Dr. Chen sat down with me and walked me through my x-rays, explaining everything in exquisite detail, and guiding me through his thinking process while developing my treatment plan. It was an ideal experience. The rest of the staff is extremely friendly and the office is scrupulously clean and extremely modern and up-to-date. Really, one of the best dental experiences overall of my life by a truly fantastic dentist.

Exceptional - I've worked in dental offices so I am critical. Dr. Chen and the hygienist Bonnie were great. They both took their time with me and were personable and kind and made sure I understood what they were doing and why at every step. Dr. Chen has a great sense of humor and I felt so comfortable. I had a routine visit with x-rays and a cleaning, so I can't speak to the restorative work experience or prices (never saw a bill due to my insurance). The office was very clean. I'd recommend C&C to anyone in the Allston/Brookline/Longwood area!

I love Doctor Chen!! I get anxiety around dentists and getting work done and Dr. Chen was so nice about it. He's calm and funny and makes you feel 100% comfortable while also explaining what he's doing to you. He is so kind and is also very professional as is the entire staff. The entire office is super clean, everyone is masked, and they are taking amazing covid restrictions ensuring chairs are thoroughly cleaned, etc. I've been coming to this dentist for a couple of years now and don't plan on leaving.

I haven't changed dentists in 25 years but when I moved and needed a new dentist, C&C came right up with 5 stars so I decided to check them out. Everyone in the office was so nice, they were very accommodating to make my first appointment. They helped me with my insurance and continued to email me after to make sure it was set up correctly. The office is also beautiful and clean! I also love that they have after 5pm hours for someone who works full time!
I've suggested them to a few friends because you just won't find a sweeter staff anywhere!

I'm moving back to Boston and hopeful that my new insurance will allow me to return to C and C Dental. This is the best dental experience I've ever had. Dr. Chen is amazing and great at explaining everything. I enjoy going over the X rays, and he is always patient and thorough. I never feel like he is pushing unneeded procedures. Customer service is great, and sometimes I will reach out via email, which is very convenient. The hygienist is super nice. Bonus is that Dr. Chen speaks Chinese.

Looking for a new dentist. Filled out the "Request Appointment" form on their website about a month ago. Haven't heard back. Tried to give them a call at 11am and 12pm today, got an answering machine saying "Sorry, we're closed. Our hours are from 10am....."

I've had my fair share of dentists throughout my life, but I can say without a doubt that Dr. Chen's high quality of care and personable customer service easily puts him at the top. I have never had a dentist take the time to walk through my x-ray with me--going through it tooth by tooth and explaining how he is thinking about and interpreting the image. It's great because he uses the x-ray to justify his clinical reasoning and reassures me that he not just trying to take money away from me. If you want personal attention and care, go to Dr. Chen. When I brought my baby to his office because I couldn't find childcare, he literally played with the baby while she was fussy and then his receptionist did the same while I was getting my exam. He takes tons of time with you and answers all your questions. He doesn't do unnecessary procedures and explains everything. This is a PERSONAL experience like none I have ever had at a medical office.

I saw Dr. Chen today for a second opinion, and I will now be switching me and my daughter to his dental care. He was thorough, educational and provided simple suggestions to improve oral hygiene.
Practice-wise, the office is beautiful and has new equipment. They had a same-day appointment for me and were willing to work with my insurance for coverage. Overall, I am very pleased!

Dr. Chen was spectacular! I would recommend anyone and everyone to go and see him! The outside of the building seems a little sketchy but once you go up to the 3rd floor to C and C dental you will see how beautiful the office is! The personnel were all extremely friendly and helpful. Dr. Chen took the time to explain everything he was doing and make sure I understood everything when I was there and when I left. he has state of the art technology and even was able to show me inside my mouth on a TV screen!
I normally HATE going to the dentists and am so happy to have found Dr. Chen!
