My experiences with A Plus have consistently been wonderful! The team works well together. They are all professional and do a thorough job. Martina the dental hygienist is one of the best! They do not pressure you with more treatments. They will make recommendations on areas to consider for your dental health. I am so glad I found A Plus.

I always have top notch service in a caring environment. From being greeted with a smile at the front desk to a warm comfortable attitude from the Dr and assistant while in the chair. Any work needed to be done is always explained fully and clearly and I have never felt pressured into anything. It is a wonderful practice that will continue to receive my patronage.

I had never had such experience as with Dr. Lender and the rest of the team. I literally felt like home. Doctor was very professional and an absolute master of this art! He truly loves what he does!
I had about 10 "fixes", 1 of them was a crown.
At the end, when they finished doing all teeth, they literally double-checked their work by another professional from their team: Marina, which holds RHD and an absolute expert of finding imperfections which were quickly fixed!
The entire process was especially driven with professionalism, showing how much they enjoy helping people!

During my visit to Boston I had an acute tooth ache. I searched for a local dentist and called, leaving a phone messages with almost no hope for help.
Miraculously after several calls I received a call from Dr. Lender. He took an effort to see me during a weekend. He prescribed medicine and next day I felt much better and was able to enjoy my stay in Boston. I am feeling very thankful and recommend this doctor. What a kind heart!

Wow, what a fantastic experience at A+ today.
I thought I was going there just to get my bad tooth looked at but instead the lovely ladies here had the time and expertise to remove it.
5 minutes later I was good to go. I would highly recommend this Brookline dentist to anyone. They were extremely nice and very professional.
The waiting area is very comfortable, receptionist is extremely nice & dentist office is quite clean.
I look forward to my next visit.

AVOID THIS PLACE. Husband went to this practice as it is close to our home in Washington Square, received mediocre service, and then received an overcharge of bill for a routine dental visit that our insurance will not cover because they overbilled. Must be an error, we thought--well we have left several messages and called and no response to discuss why the bill was so high. As if dentists already don't have a bad rep already for being shady--this place is a scam, would avoid.

Super Bowl party last night; ate a nut and cracked a tooth. Brutal pain. Called A+Dentistry this morning for my emergency. They made a place for me because of my pain. Dr. Samvel performed 2 hours of oral surgery. He was the MVP of my problem. His bed-side manner is so caring. Immediately addressed my discomfort and pain. Worked in a focused manner to help me extract my cracked tooth. This Dr. was a wonderful help and supportive care giver. I return in 6 days to get my stitches removed. Thank you Dr. Samvel and A+Dentistry.

A big thanks to Yelp for hooking me up with this wonderful dentist! From my first call, everyone I've dealt with at this office has been so incredibly sweet. I came in on a Wednesday for a 2:30 appointment and was the only one waiting because Dr. Lender and his assistant were still working on someone.

I am happy to write a review for “A Plus Dentistry”. From the minute you walk in the door you are greeted by excellent administrative assistants who make you feel welcome and comfortable. The staff is extremely nice and very helpful. They bring dental care to a whole new level. Dr. Lender is excellent dentist who take the time to explain each procedure in terms a lay person like myself can understand. He did a fantastic job fixing my two front teeth and making my smile look great.

I came to this office at the end of March for an oral exam and a cleaning. Despite my dental insurance I ended up paying $363.4 for 3 fillings. Good think I canceled a second appointment I had made to get another filling and asked for a second opinion, because it turns out that I don't have a cavity so I don't need a filling. I called twice asking to explain the bill, the second time was actually 10 minutes ago, and the explanation I got was still not fully satisfying. I wouldn't recommend it based on my experience and will definitely not go back.

I've had a wide range of cleaning experiences, and this was among the top. Dr. Lender and his assistant are super gentle and don't go overboard on that awful scraping, and ask you throughout if you're comfortable. I like how they set up a system of letting them know when you need to pause (raise your left hand), because lots of dentists I have been… to don't do that and then you just have to kind of whimper in an embarrassing way. Hygienist also didn't ask me questions while she had her hands in my mouth, something that my last dentist used to do and drive me crazy.

The first appointment I made here was for an emergency (which turned out to not be an emergency), and the office made an exception to get me in the very next day. I was very impressed with this and with the dentist I saw.
However last week I had an experience that made me question the business's integrity. I had a 9am appointment, but when I got there the office was locked and dark--it was completely closed and no one had bothered to call me to let me know. I called from the door and left a message, asking them to call me back to reschedule, but I never received a call. I was very confused

Do not go here unless you want to get scammed. Went here for a routine cleaning and was told at the end of the appointment that I needed a root canal. This was very surprising to me since I didn't have any major pain. I was told to make an appointment right away and that it would cost me $600 out of pocket for this.
As you can imagine, I went and got a second opinion when I went back home to my childhood dentist in NJ. He told me I had a MINOR cavity and filled it, costing me $50. I wish I could trust this place as the offices were conveniently located and clean, but after that experience

Dr. Perkins now has a family dental practice in Somerville but I still go to A Plus. I now see Dr. Harelick and so does my boyfriend and we are quite happy with her. The office is small and a bit different from a larger more organized practice, but the quality and convenience is there (even if you don't get your reminder calls and mailings, and most doctors just moonlight there). I one time mistakenly booked an appointment for the wrong date and showed up one day late for an appointment I had actually missed the previous day (my fault completely) and while my doctor was out, Dr. Lender still
