Due to the unfortunate ran in late June 2021, my son's car caught in the flooding waters at 2am in the morning. His car, along with other vehicles were moved to the median. We called AAA and had a 10 hour wait for a tow. We located an independent tow truck driver to retrieve the car before then. When we arrived, the car was gone! It wasn't even 24 hours. Called the MI State Police and was given the information to LIJBS Towing...it goes down hill from there. I called to inquire about the car and right off the bat they were rude!! They buzz you into a small entry foyer where you speak with a woman behind a Steel door. She said they had no one to retrieve my car from the yard, and I would have to come back in the afternoon. When I said that was impossible, she said we would be charged an extra day. I said that was grossly unfair since it wasnt my fault that they werent adequately staffed; her response was that life is unfair.

One big rip off! Try to avoid having your vehicle towed by them. They charge you $75 just to go into your vehicle to get something & they say that it's a policy of Detroit police, not them!I was going to turn my vehicle over to them because it was totaled but they wanted me to pay a $150 towing fee on top of me signing my car over to them for NOTHING!
The tow truck driver did a great job! He was there within 30 minutes. That's the only reason they have two stars instead of one.

Terribly ran. Are the biggest scam and just try to get as much money out of you as they can. They also treat your car like crap after I was in an accident. They have it in with the state police so that's why they scam everyone because they think they can. I would never recommend this peice of crap company. Have terrible customer service and take forever to help you. They use a front end loader to move my car even though it was drivable. They wouldnt let me leave the yard with my car even though it was drivable and forced me to use them as a tow company to get my car out.

Terrible! I was in an accident on the freeway and once the tow got there the paramedics were there as well. The tow driver told me I should drive my car home. The door was falling off and it was crushed! The paramedics had to tell him to do his job. Once I called and asked when I could retrieve my things they told me they were open 24 hours... LIE! They open at 8am according to one girl at 815am according to another. When I got there they said I couldn't retrieve my things because the name the car is registered to needs to be present. My mom was in a car accident and left some stuff in the car including a GI Joe from the 60s that was probably worth about $150 it was stolen out of the car and so is my mom's money she had left in there a car charger some change and some other stuff don't ever trust these people they are a bunch of Thieves that work here and I'm sure it's probably one of their workers that did it because nobody else has the keys to this building and to get into these cars except for these people do not ever trust them and don't ever come up here and waste your money with them this place

They told me in the phone that I owe them $260. By the time I arrived they told me that I owe them $75 more. They told me this cost is there because there was a second Truck sent to recover the car as my car was stuck in the driveway in the snow. Nothing to prove that. I called Detroit police and they told me that this towing company does that a lot and I should file a complaint. Unfortunately, most people don't know about those people until they go to pick up their cars from the lot. My car was stolen in Detroit and when found, recovered by this company. I went and paid the fee for the recovery and then left the vehicle there for my insurance company to retrieve and repair. By the time Progressive had finally gotten my car from them, the magnificent personelle help them selves to my belongings. A number of items in the car we're there when I inspected it and gone when I finally got it back including : My rear floor mats, My gps, Car phone charger, a power inverter, my friends all-in-oney, a new pair of Pumas, an expensive italian tobacco pipe, and MY CAR JACK!!!! which
