JLS is helmed by Jonathan L Schwartz. A midwestern native, Jonathan brings a hard working attitude with unwavering ethical standards. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Stout and earned dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Tourism Management and Property Management. Prior to entering the California market he managed several 100+ unit multifamily properties in the Minneapolis Metropolitan market.
In 2012 he transitioned into Los Angeles. Until summer 2017 he led the leasing division team at a Santa Monica based property management firm which typically leased 10-20 units per month, and managed 400+ units across the city. In 2018 JLS Palms was launched as the premier boutique management, sales, and leasing solution.

We utilize Minnesota based Rental History Reports for rental application screening services. While each owner may have their own standards, most generally like tenants to have good credit, at least two years of positive verifiable rental and income history, no evictions, no criminal history, an no red flags such as multiple credit accounts in collections, or multiple late rent payments.
Check back in Q1 2022 for SCE customers in Los Angeles, Riverside, Orange and San Bernardino Counties. JLS Palms has contracted with a Los Angeles based company which installs Electrical Vehicle (EV) chargers free to property owners. Yes free. We take care of all paperwork, permitting, hardware, software, wiring, conduit and electrical breaker changes.

Jonathan has been managing our property in the San Fernando Valley for nearly 3 years, and it's hard to imagine how he could be doing a better job.
