In 2009, upon graduating from The Arizona School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, she studied for 3 months at The Hainan Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Haikou, China. With almost 20 years of experience to draw from, Stephanie now offers what she has seen to be the most helpful and time-tested treatments in acupuncture and cupping.

Does plucking a hair hurt? Yes! And most of the time Acupuncture doesn't hurt THAT much. Look, the needles used are tiny in comparison to the needles used to give a shot or draw blood. And those needles are hollow! Acupuncture needles are thin, solid and sterile and enter the dermis by being tapped lightly.

Stephanie Nelson's acupuncture at Qilosophy has made an enormous difference in my quality of life. I have always had back "discomfort" but recently it has started getting worse. Qilosophy was highly recommended by my boss and I was able to book a same day 90 min massage appointment with Tessa. She was super welcoming and friendly and worked places that I didn't even know needed work. She was attentive to my comfort level and areas of need while also delivering a relaxing and soothing massage.
The location is central and close to work which is super convenient, especially with same day appointments. It's quiet and quaint inside and features some awesome artwork.

I am so grateful to have found this place. When I first started coming here I was feeling horrible all the time. Mainly chronic fatigue and anxiety. Now I feel like my 'normal self.' I think consistency makes a big difference in feeling the effects of 'holistic medicine' and with the prices being so reasonable I am able to do that. I also enjoy the massages; their little massage room is nice and spa like.

Came down with an upper respiratory system infection and a bilateral ear infection. Extremely congested and totally deaf, I was desperate to feel better. I had always wanted to try cupping and read on Qilosophy's website that cupping was great for congestion. I knew I had to try it! Since I was unable to hear anything, I couldn't call and make an appointment, figured I could drop by and see if she had any walk in openings! Much to my surprise Sylvia did!!! She is amazing! Definitely knows what she's doing, loved my experience! Clean peaceful place! Will be headed back

This place is wonderful. I had injured myself pretty bad after jumping off of a roof like a fool, lol not really a fu (it was all for the frisbee dude. ;) but you know my ability to walk normal was lost for about two weeks. When i visited Qilosophy they healed me, by the wonderful treatment of acupuncture. The staff was so kind & the vibes of the place was as peaceful as can be. They did such a great job. It was a perfect healing experience in a time when physical healing was needed the most. Truly miraculous my opinion. I hope to see Qilosophy thrive in a world where many folks need healthy

Stephanie runs a wonderful practice! I've been attending acupuncture sessions with her for about a month now and have had very promising results. Stephanie is professional, listens to your concerns, and flexible in terms of scheduling sessions around busy schedules. Her prices are very reasonable as well. I highly recommend Qilosophy.
