I had Dr. Stein's father as a pediatrician from 1981-2000 and I had no clue he was his son. I should have known though. He is fantastic just like his dad. Truly.
He walked me through the whole process, took his time to explain the whole process and performed the surgery expertly. I recommend him 100%

My specialist is Dr. Tannan, but the entire department will take great care of you--routine or emergency visits. Dr. Tannan makes herself extremely accessible via "MyChart," should you forget or need anything following your appointment. I had been to two other major hospitals (U of C and NWMH) and no one was able to help me find relief from my painful chronic condition, until I was referred to the Opthamology Department at Rush. Years of painful suffering have been under control and managed by the specialists here. Dr. Rubenstein leads/trains a wonderful team of doctors. I was very close

Ridiculous wait times! Especially bad for suffering surgery patients. Waiting now 90 minutes and counting. Go anywhere else-- some place that cares about patients and not doctors' convenience ( or maybe they are just terribly mismanaged).

Dr Tannan was friendly and provided excellent care. She answered all of my concerns with very clear options and explanation. I highly recommend her. The service from the front desk to the testing as well was wonderful.

Our EYES are windows to the world so because of my personal experience, I am highly endorsing Dr. Richard J. Grostern for reasons that are too good to be true. I have a macular
hole in one eye and a mucular pucker in the other, which creates underlying issues with vision. In addition, I had cataracts/. Cataracts needed to be corrected first before going any further.
Whoever reads this, please pay attention to how you're treated by a Doctor before agreeing to surgery. Follow your instincts and it'll pay off. Dr. Grostern was my second choice to interview (did quite a bit of research

Was needing an eye doctor in Chicago and overwhelmed by the choices and specialties to choose from. The clinic staff was absolutely wonderful! That being said, the wait was 45 minutes and it was a bit difficult to find within such a large campus, (Rush Medical). I will continue to go there for the doctor and the staff but I will definitely allow more time.
