I had Tara came out 2 times and try to sell me service for my lawn which i reject. One the 3 rd time they walk around and show me some faults that they will fixed etc. I had them for around 5 months. At the end of 5 month my whole lawn was dying. They had the manager came out and they said yes, they will have people come out 2 times a month. NO one come out and when I ask, they said o we were on vacation. DO NOT use this company for anything they lie and do not have the right equipment to do the job. I should have gone with the google reviews and not hiring them, but I learned my lesson now.

We initially signed up for a year of service. (Discount if paid up front).
We had a company prior. Their first service was fine, but about a week or so later, we started finding palmetto bugs in the house. (new house).
We called pest bear and requested someone to come address the situation. (this was a Monday) They said they would not be able to have my tech come out til Friday!
That was enough to cancel. Called and left a message and still have not received a call back.

John Ortiz knocked on my door very professional noticed some bug activity on my house and fortunately I was having ants and roaches all over the place the technician Jose came out and sprayed the inside and the outside of the house said he had to do a two week follow up came back in two weeks like clockwork contacted me before he came I’m surprised with some of the reviews I’ve read but I’ve had a good experience with this company so far and would recommend them to my family friends and neighbors.

We have PestBear and they do a great job on our lawn and our pest control. We are considering starting termite coverage with them as well. Please give them a try. I know there are some negative reviews here but many people who are probably happy don't take the time to leave reviews. We have had many other services for our lawn and no one has done such a great job. Our lawn looks great this year thanks to them.

Critical: Professionalism, Responsiveness
Avoid this business! They claim to have sprayed, but my Ring camera shows they did not. I call to cancel, but no answer or return call after leaving voicemail. The online "contact us" does not work either. Neighbors yards glow, while I'm looking like a fool.

This company is a complete rip-off, they were doing my lawn care and peat control. They never showed up for some months and when they did show up service work was performed very poorly. I have been using them for 6 months now and my yard looks worse than when I started.
On the last visit, the office manager Andrew told the technician do not service my residence unless I will pay and additional fee that was never apart of the service. Mind you My bill is paid in advance monthly. Horrible company, horrible customer service , and even worse office staff. Please save yourself a headache and money

1. PestBear works with our HOA board and we (everyone in the neighborhood) is required to use their services.
2. He is on the board himself and will issue you a fine if you don’t sign up for PestBear’s service.
3. He tells each household (or at least most of them) that their neighbors just signed up because the deal he is offering is so great... so you should sign up too!
Not only is this incredibly bold, it’s quite unethical. Luckily there

All of us in the Silverleaf community in Parrish now have the picture/video of your staff member drumming up business by claiming to be a board member of our HOA and threatening homeowners with fines if they do not hire your company. Started service in February- just cancelled today. I was promised a military discount when the salesman convinced me to start service, and we never received one. They were not careful with their lawn products, and they would always end up coating the top of my screened-in pool. I wrote customerservice@pestbear.com about both of these issues in April, and they never replied.

I have been a customer for many years and use services for home lawn and termite monitoring. Initially when I contacted regarding a bug issue was told no availability until 3 days later which caused me concern. I did however receive a call from a Sr. Manager who indicated he would have someone out the following day. To my surprise within an hour Nick was at my home. Nick very professional and gracious. Thank you Pest Bear for restoring my confidence in a company we enjoy doing business with.

Don't waste your time or money. First they don't show up not just once but several times no show. Then when they did they killed all our shrubs and won't do a thing about it. Putting blame on everything else except them. Their staff is very untrained and don't know what they are doing. Several other neighbors cancelled them also after issues.

Pest Bear is the worst extermination service I have ever used. Not only does their product not work but they try to charge you for services that they don't render and when you call them to tell them the services weren't rendered they argue that b/c the tech submitted a bill the work must have been done as if their tech can't lie! They were providing two services for us; mosquito and general extermination. The mosquito service is $40. The tech claimed he came to our home to treat for the mosquitos. I work from home, I'm home everyday. He did not come to provide that service.

South Tampa Parents Beware. Pest Bear ruined a smoke detector, set off all the smoke alarms in the house, removed all of the batteries from the smoke detectors, left and never came back. (they did say they'd be back in 20 minutes).
They removed a smoke detector from one of my children's. I alerted them that we had 3 small children and wasn't comfortable not having a smoke detector in his room.

They had a sales guy stop by my house and talked a good game. Said that the Tru Green service I had was not worth it, and guaranteed an improved lawn. Well, their service was terrible. My lawn actually got worse. I inspected following an application, and found an average of 1-2 granules every 1-2 feet. I called to cancel. The manager said they would not charge me, and a manager would be out the next day. The manager never showed up, and then I received an invoice for the service. I called, and they said, if I cancel, they would charge me, if I staid with them, they would not charge me for
