I am a native of the Northwest and moved my family to the beautiful community of Salem in 2002. I have a wonderful wife, Melanie, and we have four beautiful children; 2 boys and 2 girls; and a new daughter in law. When I'm not in the office and can find a little spare time, you will find me fly-fishing, snow skiing, mountain biking, golfing, and spending good times with my family.
I have served in the dental industry for 14 years, first starting as a Dental Assistant, then continuing my education becoming a Dental Hygienist. What I love most about my career is working with and developing great relationships with my many amazing patients. When you arrive in our office for your cleaning appointment I assure you that you'll feel warmly welcomed and receive a thorough but gentle cleaning.
I've been in the dental field for over 20 years, graduating from Chemeketa Community College in 1995 as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. I enjoy working with people and strive to make patients feel happy & comfortable. It is such an amazing experience to help people overcome dental phobias and see a positive experience change their lives.
My name is Kelsey. I was born outside of Chicago, but have called Oregon home almost my entire life. I graduated from Concorde Career College with a degree in Dental Assisting in 2010. I have been working at Stones Family & Cosmetic Dentistry since 2016 where I have had the distinct pleasure of working at a fantastic office and with some of the finest professionals in the industry.
Hi, my name is Melanie. I'm proud to be part of this amazing team and practice. Dr. Stones and I have been married for 26 years and have 4 amazing children and one daughter-in-law. We have loved raising our family in Salem. We have been here for about 18 years. For most of that time, I was at home raising our children, helping out in their schools, and being involved in our community.

Dr. Marcus is the best dentist by far he and his whole staff are incredible at what they do, they go far and beyond to make you feel at ease while you’re at the office. Been a loyal patient to their office since 2013 when I went thru couple of reviews online saw their 5 stars rating and I didn’t hesitate to contact them and as soon as my first visit Dr. Marcus was so quick to address all his concerns regarding dental work needed to be done and fast forward now I’m a firm believer so much that I got my wife to go to his office as well! Thanks Doc for everything you’ve done for me, and now

They have a positive, upbeat, and thorough staff. The office is clean and cozy. My kids do like going there. I give it 4 stars because I haven't been consistently informed about billing, although we have been able to work things out in the end. I’ve had similar problems at other Dentist offices. And another reason for 4 stars is because I have anxiety I have asked for specific accommodations and they have been inconsistently met. They have made an effort and I do appreciate that. I think for some people the upbeat, active environment will be perfect. They do stand by their dental work and I think

I called this morning because of a tooth ache & thought I had chipped part of my tooth. They got me in ASAP & checked things out. Didn’t chip what I thought but learned more about why we can have tooth pain. Who knew you could bruise a tooth?! (And I say this “bruise” because it was explained to me in terms I could understand.) Learned something new & felt reassured that coming in was the right thing to do just make sure all was ok. ☺️ I was able to sneak in a cleaning as well by Emily. She was so gentle & was very careful around my already sensitive
