Maria was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. From a young age, she loved singing, musical comedy and painting. She later became interested in dentistry and completed 3 years of dental school, but her dreams of becoming a singer called and she moved to the US to start a singing career.
After five fun years of working in the musical field, Maria decided to go back to dentistry and worked as an RDA for 11+ years in Miami, FL and later Clairemont and La Jolla, CA.In December of 2014, Maria and her husband welcomed a baby girl and she decided to take a hiatus from work to be home with her.

Dr. Anakarina DeAngelis was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. During summer breaks, she worked with her uncles who were dentists in their practices. It was this adventure that led her to pursue her passion for serving the community and becoming a dentist. Dr. DeAngelis went to the "Universidad Central de Venezuela" and earned her DDS degree in 1997, where she practiced 3 years.
Advanced technology has made treatment and prevention in dentistry much more comfortable for patients and allows dentists to be more thorough and efficient. At DeAngelis Family Dentistry, we utilize a variety of advanced technology to provide the highest quality service to our patients. Traditionally, periodontal disease was treated with a scaling and planing procedure, also called a deep clean.

Dr DeAngelis and her staff are the best! I've been coming to Dr. DeAngelis's office for the past 3 years and I've recommended her to my colleagues. She is the nicest and her work is of the highest caliber. She's helped with emergency filler replacements, a tooth extraction when I had my braces, silver filler replacements to white fillings, and also my regular cleanings. I really appreciate how careful and considerate of her patients she is. When she injects anesthesia for any procedures that require it, it doesn't hurt!

Best dentist I've ever had! My dental history is extensive due to an injury; surgeries, implant, tissue grafts, perm retainer, and more... I have been to countless dentists. This office has a peaceful and private atmosphere. The staff is compassionate and gentle. I love everyone here and feel genuinely cared about. I hadn't been in for a cleaning in 15 months during Covid. Alessandra was very nice and did an incredible job! I get tartar build-up despite my best efforts to prevent it. I'm so grateful no one in this office has ever made me feel bad because of it. Dr. DeAngelis is sweet and caring. I love this dentist office!

Since being pregnant and delivering in a pandemic our whole family has gone in for cleanings and it’s the place we feel safest. The office remains impeccably clean, the staff have take extensive extra precautions, and they are all welcoming and delightful, as always. Grateful for this incredible practice to care for our growing family.
