We inspect all of the major components of the home, which are the structure (foundation), building site and exterior, roof and attic, plumbing (water supply/drain/waste/vent piping), water heater, electrical, heating, cooling systems along with the interior components. Our professional ASHI Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics, state that the home inspection is visual in nature and not technically exhaustive.
Therefore, to ensure our reports are detailed and accurate, we never rush through the inspection to get to another and allow ample time to perform our job. After all, we must report on a house we have never seen before. In other words, we concentrate on the quality of our work and are not concerned with how many inspections we may be able to do in a day.

Jim is not only thorough and the best inspector I have worked with, he is also very honest and helpful. He tells it like it is, so you know where you stand and what corrections need to be made. As a realtor, Jim helps you feel confident with his results. I recommend Jim for both sides of a real estate transaction. Better to know than to be surprised. Sharon

Jim with Metropolitan Home Inspections was incredible. Not only did we move into our home knowing that everything was in working order and as it should be, we learned where and how to locate problems if they ever arose in our space. Jim is passionate about helping people and that is exactly what he does. He educates and makes you feel comfortable. When we buy our next property Jim will be there!

I've used Metropolitan Home Inspections, and have referred Jim Camp (the owner) quite a few times. He's experienced and thorough. He knows the severity of the issues he finds, and puts them in perspective for the clients - that is, when he finds a big issue, he lets us know its a big issue, but when it's a small one, or deferred maintenance, he is able to put it in perspective for the client.
