Abilene Mixed Martial Arts is not a chain or franchise. Our students receive personal attention with instruction tailored to individual needs in an atmosphere that promotes teamwork, camaradarie, and individual growth. We don't believe in gimmicks or fads, and we don't promise martial arts training will be fast or easy.
We DO promise to make you a competent, confident, and complete martial artist. Whether you're a child, teen, adult, senior, man or woman, you will find our approach to martial arts training to be a positive, life-changing experience that can improve your physical and mental health while teaching you to protect yourself against an attacker.

Services
We start our Little Dragons as early as 3 years old. This age-specific program emphasizes life skills such as balance, coordination, self-control, focus, discipline, memory, fitness, and teamwork. Working on these skills early helps in preparing your preschooler for success as they enter school and continue in the martial arts programs.
Thank you for visiting our dojo. We want to provide you with the best service possible - and your feedback helps us do that! Would you consider posting a review of us online? In additioin to providing feedback, online reviews can help other potential students learn about who we are & about the services we offer.

I joined AMMA back when I was only 12 it was awesome working out. it is fun as a kid and enjoyable as an adult. You will learn self respect and be ready to defend and protect your self if needed hopefully not but it is always good to be able too. before I joined karate I was socially awkward and after only a month or 2 I was able to come out of my shell and make friends. 6 years of karate that I enjoyed and loved. tournaments are pricey but a lot of fun. Larry teaches respect, confidence, pride, and Honor. if u want your kids to learn these traits. then AMMA is a must. also if you are an adult

My son has been under the instruction of Larry Fields for just over a year now. He has succeeded in so many avenues in his life. He is just 9 yrs old and you can see a difference in his confidence, his mannerisms and is just so much more open then he ever was. Devyn had excelled in his competitions because Larry Fields takes the time to teach these kids each step they need to succeed and protect themselves for the future. The after school program is AWESOME!!!! Very reasonable and they pick your child up from school each day. Give them a call.

Abilene Mixed Martial arts is an extremely professional school. As well as being family friendly. I've been training with Shihan Fields for many years. I'm in the best shape of my life and have no doubt when it comes to defending myself. When my child is old enough I look forward to putting him in training with Shihan Fields. I love that my son and I will be able to train together someday soon. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Don't go anywhere else!

After going to a few classes for free to get the feeling i decided to join. The instructors are nice and laid back and the classes are great so far. Never having done anything like this before i felt very "welcome" and everyone was great! I would recommend for someone wanting to enter Karate or MMA.
PS. Do not sign up for contract. Harder to get out of than wireless bill!! Go monthly. Costs more but if you decide you cant go anymore, have a child, loose a job, it won't eat you monthly for 3 years!
