CHOOSE TANG'S! Tang took my wedding dress and made it fit me perfectly exactly how I envisioned. My wedding was postponed about a year and a half, meaning I had several appointments I ended up rescheduling to make sure I only had to get it fitted once. I also live in Chicago, which made pandemic travel and fittings a little tough. Her team worked with me, assured me they would make it happen even if I didn't have the ideal amount of time between fittings and it just took so much stress off of the already stressful time. I had my wedding dress alterations done at Tang’s. They did a phenomenal job - I had purchased my dress from another boutique, but at my first appointment Tang immediately knew what to do! Tang's Bridal saved me! I had a last minute change of plans and needed my wedding gown altered a month before I had to fly to CA. I also added lace straps which were the perfect addition. I wanted extra fitted in the hips and she listened! Everything was smooth and professional. I loved that place so friendly and I was in great hands, I truly felt that from the start. Cannot say enough wonderful things about Tang's! Their new bridal studio is just lovely and it was so wonderful to get personalized attention to try on wedding dresses. Sandi is absolutely amazing. She knows her gowns inside and out and has a great eye for what dresses to pull for your vision, style and body type. She helped me try each dress on and answered all of my questions. Everyone at Tang’s Bridal is just phenomenal. They far exceeded my expectations not only in service but professionalism and kindness. They bent over backwards to accommodate my sister’s bridal dress fitting / trial this past weekend.

I'm really struggling on what to give Tangs. They were professional and nice every time I came in. I was able to expedite alterations by a day (for a significant cost). The dress also fits well.
That said, I don't think the alterations we're worth ~$150. I couldn't even make it through the wedding in the dress due to alteration issues. Very disappointing. I hope they'll make it right.

Updating with a picture of my dress on my wedding day. It fit like a glove thanks to Tang! The bustle worked well, was easy to figure out, and stayed pinned up all night! I have been to so many weddings where the bustle doesn't hold up for the bride for dancing. Mine stayed pinned all night with no stress and through all my dance moves! My wedding was out-of-State, so Tang put together a nice 2 minute video explaining to my bridesmaids and showing them how to bustle the dress so that I could send it to them! Tang did such a great job with my dress that I brought it back to her after my wedding

Got my wedding dress tailored here and it turned out amazing. I was a little nervous at first because I lost a good amount of weight, which resulted in 5 inches needing to be taken in and total reconstruction of the top part of the dress. I have a curvier shape so they really had their work cut out for them. I had 3 fittings and at each fitting I really felt like they cared about how I felt in the dress and wanted it to be perfect on me. I absolutely loved my dress and I would recommend everyone to come here to get their dresses altered.

I have been using Tang’s for dress alterations for YEARS—from my homecoming or prom gowns in high school, to floor length gowns for special events as an adult, to my wedding gown—and I have never been disappointed! Tang took the utmost care in hemming & bustling my gown, and it turned out beautifully! They also hemmed and fixed the straps on 2 of my bridesmaids gowns, and took in the sides of another one. I loved the special bridal dressing room and fitting area in the back of the store; I truly felt like a VIP guest! They followed CDC COVID guidelines and I felt comfortable for each appointment

Absolutely fantastic process getting a wedding dress from start to finish! I live across the country, but was getting married in VA. This wasn't the closest bridal shop, but I went on the recommendation of a family friend. Sandi was an absolute joy, and everyone was very accommodating in adhering to COVID safety protocols while allowing for a wonderful dress-finding experience.
I have a large back tattoo that I wanted to show off for the wedding, and Xiao-Yin and her team were able to tailor my dress to frame it. I was able to do everything needed in two fittings.

I cannot say enough wonderful things a out Tangs. I came here for alterations to my wedding gown. They were total pros, knowing exactly what to pin and what to let out to make my dress fit perfectly. I also asked them to add a comb to my antique veil, which they did an amazing job with. The prices were also really reasonable! I can't wait to wear my dress and hope to have other opportunities to work with Tangs or recommend them to other people!

I owe Tang everything!!!!!!!!! She did an absolutely fabulous job on altering my bridal dress for my big day, and truly saved the disaster that was my dress. I purchased this back in PA, and had the worst customer experience in addition to getting a dress that I absolutely did not want. I was expecting a dress that had a consistent color throughout - not one that had a top that was significantly darker than the bottom.

Tang and her whole team were absolutely incredible to work with from start to finish. My dress was a modern minimalist design made with heavy satin that left little room for error or forgiveness in alternations. Tang knew exactly what my dress needed and delivered in a very timely manner. When I decided to change my bridal shoes midway through alternations, Tang was more than accommodating. I highly recommend using Tang for all wedding dress alternations!

Tang is a joyful, high-energy, professional, intelligent wedding dress miracle worker. I bought my dress that I loved on the model but hated on my body. I took the dress to Tang with little hope and she made the dress fit me like a glove and make me feel so beautiful. She even added to a removable Tulle backing to my dress which I needed for the church. She made my dress the dress of my dreams and played such a pivotal role in the joy of our most special day. As a bride who is likely nervous or anxious about dress alterations, do yourself a favor and just take it to Tangs! I purchased my dress in my home state of NJ but needed to get alterations done here in VA so after lots of research I settled on taking it to Tangs in March 2020. The day of my first fitting my bridesmaid had to cancel on me last minute so I was there alone and definitely a little overwhelmed and I think Tang picked up on that because she quickly reassured me that I was in very good hands. One week later, COVID hits, and I wind up having to postpone my wedding an entire year! Tang

An absolutely wonderful experience! I ordered a linen wedding dress online that needed some alterations, and the team at Tang's did a marvelous job. They added belt loops, bustle ties, brought in the waste, shortened the straps, and hemmed it perfectly (if any of the pictures make it look to long, it's because I kicked off my shoes a few times!). There was also a gorgeous veils that complemented the style of my dress beautifully, and my friends who came with me for my final fitting ended up getting it as a gift for me.

Although I didn't purchase my dream wedding dress at Tang's, I still had a phenomenal experience during my consultation with Sandi! Out of all the bridal shops that I visited, this was my favorite experience. My bridesmaids were with me and Sandi made sure they really got to play a role in the shopping.
