Jake was phenomenal!!!! He did a great job taking into account our music preferences and playing songs that kept everyone on the dance floor all night! He's super friendly and quick to respond to questions. What I loved about him the most is that he was so great at choosing which songs to play in its entirety vs songs to transition after the first chorus. Best DJ ever!

From start to finish, we had the best experience with dream day DJs. Jake was very responsive and provided all of the information we needed before booking their services. If you want a DJ that will create a fun and lively atmosphere, look no further than Jake! He was spectacular! Jake knew how to run the show and was quite the entertainer. He kept the party going from start to finish during all 7 1/2 hours of our wedding. From the ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception, he executed everything perfectly. This is going to sound so extra but we were BLOWN AWAY by our DJ Jake at our wedding this past weekend. He stepped in at the last minute when our other DJ cancelled.... He emailed me back within literally 2 hours every time I asked him a question. He went out on his own time and visited the property beforehand to ensure a great setup, and called me a week before to clarify ALL song requests and exactly each time to play them. He sends his clients a comprehensive survey asking all their preferences on music and announcements from the time guests arrive to the last song on the dance floor. After hearing plenty of good things about Jake, I wanted to book him as soon as I could. Unfortunately, he was booked for my wedding night and he offered his partner DJ, Akhil Handa. Since he was newish with Dream Day, I was cautious but willing to try him out and what a fantastic decision that was. Friends and family complimented that DJ Akhil was the best wedding DJ they've seen and that my wedding had the highest dance rate (if that's even a thing) they had ever witnessed. Jake Ritchie, our DJ, was absolutely amazing for our wedding. We had originally planned an outdoor wedding but weather changed that to an indoor wedding. He had no problem coordinating our ceremony music and nailed our music requests perfectly even though they were slightly complicated (wanted very specific times of a song etc.). We hired Jake to DJ our wedding in May 2016 and we couldn't be more pleased with his service. He was very professional and responsive to all our questions/requests leading up to the wedding day. Since we had a combo ceremony/reception in one location he was able to provide the music and audio support for everything. Wow. Where to start? We feel so lucky to have gotten Jake to DJ our wedding. If there is one place where you do not want to risk a discount service, it is at the DJ position because they have a disproportionate role in your reception--and possibly your wedding if they are assisting with that. DJs manage your reception and a good one can take a lot of pressure off you to keep things smooth. Jake ended up not being the DJ we contracted with, HOWEVER, he was VERY responsive to my initial inquiry, and drove all the way out to us in Maryland during the week late at night just to interview with us. I can't recommend Jake highly enough. I was a little nervous about having a DJ because of others I've seen at weddings. My husband really wanted one though and found Jake. He was incredibly professional and excellent at what he does. He had wonderful equipment and a great, unobtrusive setup. I made the entire playlist, and he procured every song he did not already have.The dance floor was filled the entire time, and people are still raving about our reception over a year later.

Jake did a fabulous job as the deejay at our wedding. He worked the ceremony and the reception. He had a separate system for the ceremony and also provided a wireless microphone and a separate mic for our reader. His timing is excellent and he is very flexible and professional. He was great at moving the night along and making sure we were happy with how the night was going. We had some obscure music selections, and Jake either found them or we sent files for him to download and use. He worked within our budget as well. We'd highly recommend him!
