Is a cash-based physical therapy practice that was founded by Robert Collewijn in Clearwater, Florida in the year 2014 and is still a privately-owned practice specializing in manual physical therapy. Our unique approach, utilizing the Scale of Function (a philosophy created by Rob), has earned us a reputation for high-quality therapy that produces great results and provides a knowledgeable patient.
At Free Motion, our purpose is to provide the highest quality physical therapy, prevention. We do this with Rob Collewijn's philosophy known as the Scale Of Function, which is a gradient approach that systematically guides you through a sequence of steps to recover your full optimal bodily functions--or go even further!
On your 1st appointment, you can expect to be here for approximately 1.5- 2hrs max. You will begin with filling out paperwork after being greeted by our lovely receptionists. You can find and fill out the paperwork in the provided section below to save time. After your paperwork is complete. Your 1st part of your experience at Free Motion begins.

I want to share my success with using the Nova Thor red light bed! Doing this has completely changed my body for the better. I broke my ankle and have metal in it. This created a numbness for years. Using the bed has completely "awoken" the cells and the numbness is just vanishing. I also feel more energetic and it is helping me tremendously with weight loss and inflammation. What is there to say about Free Motion…. As an employee and therapist of Free Motion it is one of the best physical therapy places to be employed at. The team brings high energy, the education and learning is daily, Rob is Yoda when it comes to understanding the body and how to correct it. It's the best, and I am a physical therapist myself! Rob's treatment methods are absolutely brilliant, and they get real results with less pain, improved function and more strength and mobility. Plus, their home exercise programs are targeted to handle the problem. You just have to do them! The staff is knowledgeable and well trained, interested, courteous, and to top it off, this clinic actually runs on time!

I like this place! Chris has been my PT and he really understands the human body. I always walk out feeling better. And I've been making steady improvement. The rest of the staff are great, too. You can tell they all want to help people get better! Free Motion gives a lot...there is the PT, the additional treatments and the exercise instruction. When it comes to your health and well being and picking the right practitioner there are really only a few important key points to consider ... competence at their craft , confidence that you are getting the right treatment and progress as you go. Well , I can tell you not only am i getting ALL that in spades at Free Motion but the big bonus is the true and honest care factor of ALL of the staff .. they make me feel important and cared for in an open and sincere way. I cannot recommend them more highly ... . and i do to everyone who needs help in this area !!

These guys are amazing - everyone there! My wife went 1st from a referral. I was orig very skeptical as I've had bad past experiences with physical therapists but my wife insisted to go which I'm so happy she did. Relatively quickly I noticed her carrying her body differently and she felt wins herself. It was truly amazing on how quickly we saw such huge changes. This was easy for her to convince me to go due to a severe shoulder and back issues which I KNEW I likely needed surgery on the shoulder because I tried everything else including stem cell treatments. No words can explain the greatness of this physical therapy location. The big boss Rob really knows his stuff. I had about 23 injuries. Seriously maybe more (see photo). I couldn't get someone to hollistically handle my body in it's totality. It took about 6 months but I handled it all!! I love this place!!
