Competitive Edge Physical Therapy
Competitive Edge Performance is a physical therapist-owned practice that was founded on the desire to provide a better patient experience than the standard of care set by traditional clinics. At CEP, we believe that innovative technology based on science and research is the future of the physical therapy profession.

We are leaders in the clinical testing and development of devices and techniques that will help promote the field of physical therapy for the next generation. Our mission is to deliver a new standard of care that impacts the health and wellbeing of our patients and our community. Our holistic approach to positive physical therapy outcomes gains its strength from good old-fashioned hard work combined with innovative techniques.
Services
We believe in taking a personal interest in our clients' health when they reach out to us for help. We emphasize the care in healthcare. We believe in establishing partnerships and relationships with our clients based on the merits of old-fashioned hard work, respect for their time, and results we achieve with each person who trusts us with their care.
CEP's Hillsborough Avenue location in Tampa is easily accessible from the Westchase, Oldsmar, Safety Harbor, East Lake and Palm Harbor communities. At this office, the CEP continues our mission of bringing the field of physical therapy into the next generation through science, technology and innovation.
Jason, who is a native of Buffalo, NY, moved to Florida as a teen. Growing up he excelled at hockey, baseball and football, as he always had a passion for sports. In 1994, he earned his undergraduate degree in biological sciences and pre-med, graduating magna cum laude from Florida State University.
Our differentiated approach to providing best-in-class physical therapy is based on the premise that one-on-one care and individually tailored treatment sessions are keys to patient satisfaction and successful outcomes. In order to provide a patient-centered treatment approach, CEP has elected to remain "in network" with only a small selection of insurance carriers.
CEP's technology-forward treatment approach for complex neurological conditions is anchored by the use of NEUBIE pulsed direct current treatment, which has been unparalleled in addressing long-standing dysfunctions and decreasing chronic pain among our patient population.

By impacting the body at the neurological level, we can change the inputs the body is receiving regarding pain and muscle function, thereby "correcting" the dysfunctional patterns that lead to chronic injury. Our patients have experienced phenomenal success with this technology, and we are thankful to have positively impacted the quality of life for hundreds of patients over the years.

Nothing but good things to say about CEP! I have been going for about 10 months seeing Bryant, following a torn meniscus. I have gone from having just walking to being able to run and do shuttle sprints, I no longer have any issues squatting or deadlifting. I tore my meniscus while getting ready to attend Coast Guard Helicopter Rescue Swimmer School and thought that I would never be able to pursue my dream, but thanks to lots of patience, hard work and the great staff at CEP, my knee is back to operating at %100. And as I prepare to for school I feel that I have full confidence in myself and my

I came by CEP through recommendation from my orthopedic surgeon, Dr.Mark Torke, a great surgeon who's operated on me several times over nearly three decades, and at 67 I'm still running 5Ks, so I'd say he's done well by me.
This was my 2nd rotator cuff repair (other shoulder), and I went to a very large organization for PT after my first one. This time I chose Competitive Edge, and I could not be more impressed.
Dr Bryant White (yes, a real doctor specializing in Physical Therapy) spends his time with me 100%, start to finish.
We work together 3 hours a week. and the recovery this time has easily

Highly recommend Hap Hudson and everyone at CEP for their results oriented, friendly and caring treatment! My daughter was seen by Hap Hudson for more than two years in recovery after two torn ACL surgeries on the same knee. As a dancer he dealt with not only the physical but mental aspects of her injury helping her get back onto the dance and theater floor pain free with confidence and strength. While she has had many accomplishments in overcoming this obstacle she recently went to competition receiving a double platinum, 6th place overall for her dance solo as well as double platinum, 1st place

Competitive Edge Physical Therapy has done great with my shoulder pain. They use current techniques and new technologies. I’ve been to other physical therapy places that give me a few exercises and do the same thing appointment after appointment. I’ve felt frustrated and wondered why I was paying them since I could do all those exercises at home. CEP is different. They continually change my exercises and reassess to get me back in top shape. I highly recommend CEP.

I came to CEP about 6 months ago for hip pain and chronic knee pain. I chose CEP because of their more athletic, dynamic approach to physical therapy. I didn't want to just get better, I wanted to be able to get back to running and high intensity workouts. Today was my last session, and I can finally do all of the things I want to do! My hip pain is gone and my range of motion is back. Bryant was awesome to work with, as was the whole staff. I can't say enough great things about how friendly, welcoming, and personable they are. They made going to PT something I wanted to do instead of something

I have been going to Competitive Edge for the last month to be treated for sciatica with which I have suffered for more than 2 years. A year ago, I had a series of 3 epidural injections that helped but did not last. I had a series of Physical Therapy at a different local location which accomplished nothing. A family member member recommended I talk with Hap because he had been so helpful to them. Competitive Edge's approach is much more hands-on and intense. Chance and Hap were so personable and really care about my progress. Until going to Competitive Edge, I could not sit for more than about

I saw Dr Bryant White regarding neck pain, and ankle pain during running. He introduced some exercises to help me strengthen the areas. I was unable to run further than a mile, after his care I am able to exercise comfortably. Competitive Edge was recommended to me by a colleague, and I would recommend anyone to seek their advice. The Pride gym adds to the experience with a wide array of equipment to help the patients find variations they can use outside of the clinic for maintenance. They create an individualized plan of care, and are attentive to detail. The receptionist, Sabrina, is also very

Daily is outstanding. I needed support for a serious neurological injury. The situation was complex and Daily was able to reduce or eliminate symptoms every single session. I could not have tolerated the recovery process without Daily’s expert therapeutic approach each week.
