Services
Argonne Animal Hospital is proud to serve the Lemont, Darien, Downers Grove, and Romeoville, Il areas for everything your pet needs. Our animal hospital is run by Dr. Michelle Radwanski, who is a licensed, experienced veterinarian for over 17 years. Our team is committed to educating our clients in how to keep your pets healthy all year round.
If it is easier for you, please bring in a printed copy. It is always a good idea to bring in a urine sample (within 1 hour of examination) and a stool sample to fully evaluate your pet's health. There is no fasting requirement if blood work is needed for your pet. Please check your pet's medications and food that you use on a routine basis.
Michelle Radwanski has taken care of our dogs for a very long time. She is more than just a skilled doctor. She listens to your concerns and communicates very well. It seems this is more than just a job for her as she goes above and beyond what is expected to care for your pet. She understands that your pet is really a member of your family.
Pets are life-long commitments, and keeping a pet happy, healthy, fed, and well-exercised requires time and money. In order to pick the right pet for you, one must consider your lifestyle, living situation, and how much care you are able or willing to provide. Some pets require very little interaction with their owners, while others need almost constant companionship!

We bought a puppy during the Corona Pandemic and Argonne was the only place that could get us in as new clients and I am so thankful. The staff is so warm and friendly and I trust them to the fullest with my pet. They always answer the phone and will answer any questions. Emails were even answered on days when the office was closed. My dog loves going as well. He wags his tail and gets so excited when he sees the Doctor. Definitely an amazing vet and I highly recommend.

I had to have my 17.5 year old dog put down after a weekend of her health rapidly declining and my experience couldn't have been better, considering the situation. We called shortly after the office opened in the morning and they were able to fit us in within a matter of about an hour to put my canine baby out of her pain. The entire experience was handled with so much care and compassion, you would think Dr. Radwanski was caring for her own dog. The small touches like having a blanket ready for my dog, a fresh rose with petals to lay by my dog, and soft music playing made this incredibly difficult

We have been going to Argonne Animal Hospital for years. There have been a few changes, but our pets are well cared for and we enjoy coming back. We have had a few extra sick visits this year, but always come back for our yearly exams. And we love the new places for our pets to wait for their visits and think they do as well!
