Our expert in-house repair department allows us to offer quality work, fast turnarounds, and competitive rates. Jewelsmith offers repair on Sterling Silver, Gold, and Platinum Jewelry. We specialize in antique jewelry repair and restoration as well as repairs on American Indian Jewelry. We provide free estimates on repair services-including insurance replacement quotes.
After determining your proper ring size, Jewelsmith will size your rings to fit you perfectly. All provided on-site by our expert Jeweler. That's a tough question because it varies depending on the material, the size difference and thickness of the ring, the stones in the ring, and more. Basic estimates can be given over the phone, but it's always best to come into the store for a more accurate price quote.
If your missing a stone from your jewelry, the first thing we'll do is look at WHY the stone came out. Sometimes weakened or missing prongs are the cause. It could even be a worn out bezel or something else. There are even times when the material is there, but it may have come loose due to wear-a good bang will knock a stone out of its setting causing it to fall out.
Illustrated below is an example of good prongs, low, worn down, lifted prongs, and rebuilt prongs. Sometimes this can be hard to see yourself. But if you bring your jewelry in for regular cleanings and inspections, we can show you what to look for. How much will Prong Repairs Cost? As with any repair, the price depends on the type and size of prong, also the type of stones involved.

I am so thrilled to have found Jewel Smith! I came to them with my most treasured piece, a silver bracelet my dad had made for me when I was 7 years old. 47 years later, my dad is now 84 years old, and the bracelet had cracked and broken into pieces. Everyone at Jewel Smith was so kind, understanding the sentimentality I had for it and appreciated how precious it was. They said they would do their best and Francisco, their incredibly talented craftsman, took tremendous care and beautifully repaired it. I almost cried when I saw it, so wonderfully and painstakingly restored.

I needed to get the band on my wedding ring rebuilt. We happened upon this place because of Google maps and I'm glad we did. When the ring was finished it was better than when I first got it!
