Barb is our Office Administrator and has over 20 years experience in the dental field. Barb's main focus is to ensure every patient receives excellent care and customer service. Barb assists patients through scheduling, financial matters and insurance questions. In her free time, Barb enjoys spending time with her family, golfing, gardening and travel.
We provide excellent preventive care, including exams, cleanings, and digital x-rays. Early detection of dental problems is essential to gain optimal oral health. The American Dental Association recommends that you follow a schedule of twice yearly cleanings and exams.
According to the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, your child should visit the dentist within six months after the presence of the first tooth or by his or her first birthday.Early oral examination aids in the detection of the initial stages of tooth decay. Early detection is also essential to maintain good oral health.

A treatment plan will be provided in writing for all recommended procedures displaying the regular fee and the discounted rate. Dental products purchased are not included. Coverage is in effect for 12 consecutive months beginning when membership has been paid in full. Appointment times are limited, and it is the responsibility of the member to schedule appropriate visits.

Most people should see the dentist at least twice a year for regular hygiene visits. Other individuals are recommended to visit the dentist more frequently if they have gum disease, or a history of gum disease. Dr. Glud and her highly trained staff will determine and notify you if x-rays are needed at your dental appointments.

Dr Glud and her team are fantastic! My daughter had work done by dr Glud and I am amazed by her work ethic. She is so gentle, caring and very experienced. I trust her 100% and I know the dental work done by her is always top - notch. It’s hard to find a great dentist that really cares about you and your teeth, so if you are looking for one dr Glud is the one ! Also her office is very clean and her entire team is super nice and always very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this practice.

Kim the hygienist Is the most professional knowledgeable and Friendly Hygienist I have ever met in the entire world. Great Human being. Melanie at the front desk was wonderful aswell. Also Yes! Dr. Julie was phenomenal and extremely down to earth, knowledgeable and earns your trust fast. Will be there again.

I had my first appointment at Dental Care of Lombard and I was very impressed! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Dr. Glud and Nicole were patient and understanding regarding some concerns I had. Dr. Glud sat with me and discussed any issues they had found and we talked through a treatment plan together. Like many people, I have never been a fan of going to the dentist but I can honestly say this has been the most positive dental experience I've ever had.

I am a new patient and would highly recommend this office to anyone! The staff are all very welcoming, kind, and helpful. Dr. Glud was very thorough with the exam and performed two fillings after explaining the benefits of getting them done proactively before problems arose. As she worked, she explained everything she was doing and asked me routinely whether I had any questions or concerns. The office and patient rooms were incredibly clean and going to this office during a pandemic felt very safe. Keep up the high standards and excellent service!

I came in as a new patient to Dr. Glud because I am pregnant and have one of my wisdom teeth coming in. Dr. Glud got me an appointment right away, and they made me feel so welcome when I arrived at the office. She's very friendly, gentle, and kind. I cannot recommend her highly enough. If you are looking for a friendly neighborhood dentist, look no further!

Everyone on your staff is wonderful! Pleasant, kind, and friendly. You’re all amazing with children, my 4 year old loved each and every one of you, he was never once hesitant or scared to come to the dentist. From the second I sent an inquiry about an appointment this was a pleasant experience. Every single member of the staff was amazing, super friendly and just an all around pleasure! Dr. Glud explained everything thoroughly and made sure I knew what she was doing, which was super nice because not only was it my first time here, it was the first time back to the dentist in a VERY long time. They also ran everything by insurance and informed me what I should expect coverage wise with their recommendations. I've never seen a doctor and staff be so accommodating to new patients but also my 2 year old
