At Fort Tryon Center, we recognize that diet is one of the most important aspects of our resident's life. Kosher - We are certified Kosher by the Vaad Harabanim of Queens and have a mashgiach on premises daily. Our Chef prepares culturally Jewish cuisine for during Shabbos and Yom Tov Holidays. The amenities provided are designed to make our resident's stay relaxing and convenient, allowing them to focus on improving their health and well-being.

On site Medical Suites including Internal and Geriatric Medicine, Dentistry, and Podiatry Services. It is hard to believe how close we felt with all of you, but mostly our dear husband and father, who lately called your place "home"! I wanted to thank all of you for the great care and dedication you had for my grandpa.

The staff was very rude, and didn’t seem motivated to take my aunt to the bathroom, the shift nurse offered excuses, but I insisted and then she had a nurse put her in the bed pan. The reception people on he first floor were very professional, the staff on the 5th floor was very Unprofessional! I hit the wrong key I meant to rate them a 2!! I will be back soon and I hope that I see some improvement

The visit could have been a bit longer 😕 30 minutes is not enough time to visit with someone you haven't seen in a long time

My experience wasn’t as pleasant as some of these comments. I must agree the physical therapy team was very attentive, caring and helpful. However, I believe the nursing staff needs adequate training. My father was a resident at Fort Tryon. One night he became very ill in my presence. He complained he wasn’t feeling well then he started screaming but didn’t make any sense, he was very confused. I called the nurse on duty & she quickly “examined” him. She said his chart showed his sugar had been very high which is probably why he was confused. She said he was already given insulin and

Truly disappointed with the service from staff members in this facility. It is difficult to get a hold of any of the nurses and you will get transferred many times or hung up on. The physical therapy team are the only decent ones. It takes hours to give your loved one any meals you drop off for them and they will leave them sitting in their filth almost all day before someone comes to clean them. Management needs to look into these issues and the growth of patients!

I've been to the facility many times prior to COVID-19. Prior to COVID 19 I recall walking into the lobby and everyone being so kind and greeting me. I love the staff there. They truly care for their residents. There is two kind of people in this world, the ones that go to work to get a check and the ones that actually care. Workers there actually care. They treat the resident's like they're supposed to be treated; like humans not diseases.
Wherever Fort Tryon goes I will always be a supporter of the facility.

Fort Tryon Rehab is a great place to bring your family members to. I've had several family members stay short term and they were pleased. Staff members are great. Yes of course there might be a day someone is having a bad day but that's in any place you go to. Reading some of the reviews left here I came to the conclusion that some people just want to do what they want. If your family is not medically ready to go home the doctors are going to disagree. Is not because they want your family member to stay but medically is UNSAFE. Everyday there is someone that needs a bed in a nursing home so I highly

Fort Tryon Rehab provided best service a friend could ask for. One of my best friends mother was very sick. Before she passed away the nurses showed sincere and professional care toward her mother, they gave instructions step by step to provide the family with knowledge, the doctors explained everything to every family member lovingly and professionally. I had faith in the people who worked here to ensure positive outlook and best care possible. That's what they did for my friend and her family. Gave her freedom with excellent service
Thank you
