As a full-service funeral home, Melton Mortuary & Cremation Center was founded on the principal of fulfilling the needs and exceeding the expectations of every family that we have the honor of serving. Since 1951, we have lived by our mission statement: our family serving your family. Conveniently located in Beckley, WV, we provide a funeral parlor environment that is always clean, fresh, and uplifting.
Our staff is committed to the highest standard by providing personalized services and adaptable facilities. We care for each deceased person with respect and dignity when transporting, preparing, and sheltering them before they are laid to rest. At our funeral home, we believe each family deserves that same respect.

Services
When planning a service, you have many options available to you and we will do all that we can to provide a beautiful and respectful ceremony. No matter your choice, we can offer you a space to join with family and friends in grief, comfort and love. And above all, we will do our utmost to honor your loved one.
Since 2012, we have provided the same care, compassion and understanding for your beloved companion as we have for area families for over 65 years. All cremations are performed in our "state of the art" facility located next door to the funeral home. All cremations include a cremation certificate, Rainbow Bridge poem and a temporary container.
At Melton Mortuary and Cremation Center, we want to make arrangements simple for you. We offer a large variety of containers and traditional caskets designed to meet your personal needs but we'll be happy to go over them with you and answer any questions you may have. We offer a vast selection of burial caskets made from various woods, metal and steel.
When it comes to your final arrangements, shouldn't you make the decisions? The arrangements you make will reflect your exact wishes and desires. Pre-arranging your own service will help to ease the burden of your loved ones. It will also alleviate any questions, problems or differences, which can occur among family members.
