Ivey Funeral Home Inc. was established in 2001 when Graige L. Ivey returned back to the Gadsden County area to serve his hometown. A native of Quincy, Florida, Graige started as a teenager working for his cousin, Jim Williams of Williams Funeral Home in Quincy, Florida.
In 1983 Graige graduated from Carter-Parramore High School and he moved to Atlanta, Georgia to further his education in Mortuary Science by attending Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service.While in mortuary school in Atlanta Graige worked for Murray Brothers Funeral Home Inc. and also Cox Brothers Funeral Home Enterprise.
