I used to do a lot of gift buying and personal jewelry at the st. Pete location. After their big expansion customer service was far less amiable and no more small town flavor. Consequently I have not shopped there in the last couple of years. Yesterday I went in to get my watch a new battery. It is a good watch m, chronograph and it needs a watchmaker. The lady at the desk was looking at her phone and as I stood in front of her she finally said,”I’ll be with you shortly. “

What an odd experience. I live in the neighborhood and wanted to do business locally when I decided to have my mother's diamond ring reset. Brandon was the person I met with. He gave me a price which I agreed with and said the ring would take about a week. I called back in a week and Brandon acted so arrogant and annoyed with me that I had called about my ring...it was quite shocking. I called back the next day and spoke to some one who was very polite and said they would be in touch when the ring was ready. A week later the ring was ready. I was greeted by a lady who asked for my paperwork..Brandon

My 32 year old wedding band and diamond engagement rings have never looked better. I had Old Northeast Jewelers increase their size by almost 2 sizes, check prongs, polish and clean them. The baguettes on each side of my engagement ring were a concern when enlarging it that much, but the quality work that was done should last a lifetime. The family has been in St. Pete for over 50 years so it felt only right to support the local community. After long searching for a very specific stone, needed for the center of an engagement ring. I was led to old northeast jewelers. I asked about the stone I was looking for, and was told to call in a week or two, as they would contact their gem cutter to see what’s available. I went in about a week later and they have several stones available to choose from. Once I had the stone I wanted, they were able to get it mounted in the ring with diamonds within just a few days. And now I’m engaged and my fiancé has a truly unique ring to wear forever.
