My husband and I have been going to Boggs for years now. We take all of our repairs here and also purchase jewelry from them. Everyone that works there has always been super helpful!
Today I brought in some old pocket watches that were gifted to me. I thought they needed batteries. They don't. Haha. Mark explained how they worked and showed me how to tell if their holding the winding. He pulled out a book and looked up how old these watches were. 150 years old!
We have even brought in cheap novelty watches to get batteries and repairs. They are always helpful!

I needed to have a ring resized. I went in and felt like I'd fallen through a time hole. They knew some of the customers in the store. The mood was very friendly and welcoming. Like they'd known me forever. I was waiting for an elderly couple to finish. At the end of the transaction the woman became very chatty with the salesperson. She just wanted to pass time. It was very sweet and the salesperson handled her beautifully. Gave her the attention she needed. After the couple left the salesperson apologized to me for the delay. I get no reason to apologize. I came to Boggs for an engagement ring after going to other shops I was used to seeing on TV. They all made me feel like dollar signs. When I met Mark at Boggs I could tell he really cared that I felt comfortable with what I would eventually walk out with. He had great respect for my grandmother’s estate piece that I traded to help purchase the ring and was straight forward with all of the pricing. My now fiancé couldn’t be happier with the ring and you can tell there’s a reason Boggs has been in St Pete for decades.

I called to get my grandfather clock repaired. I was giving a price of $250.00. He said this will cover the cost for a tune up which should fix the problem. I read that he honors and supports veterans 👩✈️ . I asked him what is the costs for veterans? He stated it has been calculated 💱already. How can this be. He stated he couldn't go any lower. Then he doesn't support veterans when he made that statement. How would he know who I was.
I just wanted to support our Neighborhood business.
I gave him a 2 star because he did return my call 📞.

Went to bring my clock a week ago. Was interested in selling it. Spoke with Mark the owner a week later. He purchased my wall pendulum clock. Needed to get a new battery for my father's watch. Walked in and the staff immediately asked how they could help me. They were able to replace the battery quickly and set the date and time for me also. Had a look around at their jewelry and amazing clocks and will definitely be back. Thanks for the great service!

I have a family heirloom Cuckoo Clock that had been sitting for years. I brought it into to Boggs and Mark immediately told me information about the clock I hadn't even know, gave me an estimate for repairs to get it running again and it was ready to go on the day he said it would be. It is so neat to have that old clock hung on the wall and working just as I remember it as a child. Now my children can enjoy it just as I did. Everyone in the store is so nice and professional. I will be returning there for sure.

I went with my momma to get Her sisters old mantle clock fixed, and I asked if they could repair rings, and they said of course we can. I got my ring back today and I was so amazed, that they did such a phenomenal job, and it looks like it did when my husband put it on my finger when we got married 13 years ago. This place is absolutely amazing. Wonderful staff, I can’t say enough about them. And so many kudos to the jeweler that was able to repair my ring. Thank you. One very happy customer.

Five stars isn't enough. I am overwhelmed by the professionalism and craftsmanship of Boggs jewelers. I needed my great grandmother's rings resized, rebuilt and customized for my hand. I was weary about leaving my most treasured possession. Laura made me feel like I was family from the moment we met. She assured me that she would personally look after my rings. Her father worked miracles making them better than I ever could have imaged. They did all this in a week so I could have them in time for my anniversary. The price was reasonable considering all of the work that needed to be done

I was given my grandfather's watch after my father passed away seven years ago and put it away. I came across it and wondered if it worked and any other information that I could get. I did a quick search online to find a watchmaker in my area and found BOGGS JEWLERS. I took the watch in and met Mark and Laura. Mark took a look at the watch, and pulled out a book to verify the model number. Mark was able to give me a nice history about the watch and confirmed that it was in excellent working order. Came into this store blind simply needing to get a watch that I received as a gift. I was surprised by the openness and how comfortable the store made me feel. The staff was warm and inviting and wasted no time in welcoming me and quickly taking the links out of my watch. The owner (?) made sure that the size of the band was perfect and didn't even charge me for the work instead accepting a donation to a local charity instead. Nice store, merchandise, decor, and an amazing staff equals a very nice and pleasant experience I will be sure to repeat.

What a wonderful experience. I was greeted with a beautiful smile and very friendly hello from the young lady at the counter. The gentleman at the counter was very friendly too. I went in to get to have some links removed from my watch and she did it right away and the charge was only $5. They had an awesome display of jewelry, watches and clocks. Family owned and impeccable. I had some older rings, family rings that I wanted to have made into a custom ring. The staff helped me design what turned out to take my breath away. Absolutely stunning!!! There is no other jewelry store to visit, first class, all the way. Very nice people, they repair grandfather clocks, watches, even Detex watchman clocks. I had them repair a ring which got chewed up in the garbage disposal. It was like new. We send people to them regularly as we are in the "time clock" business, and people think we repair residential clocks. No, we sell computerized clocks for businesses. That's why we send people to Boggs. Never got a complaint from anyone, not in 15 years.
