Aspen Inn is nestled at the edge of the forest, conveniently on Hwy 61 as you come into town from Duluth or the Twin Cities. Tucked in behind northwoods landscaping, it fits right in with a peaceful, North Shore getaway, as many rooms overlook quiet aspen and spruce. A guest favorite, our spacious whirlpool-sauna centered in a sunlit room, is off a relaxing deck, surrounded by spruce, aspen and lilac for privacy.
Aspen Lodge, located on the east edge of Grand Marais, is an in-town lodge and your ideal, four-season, vacation getaway. Nestled in a park-like setting, with views of Artists' Point, East Bay and the Coast Guard Station, Aspen Lodge is an easy walk to shops, restaurants and entertainment. The beautiful swimming pool, giant whirlpool spa, sauna and sundeck are a favorite for end-of-day relaxing.
Our most economical lodging choice - Spruceglen Inn is conveniently located on Hwy 61 on the east side of Grand Marais. Guests check-in right next door at Aspen Lodge. All of the Aspen Lodge amenities are available to Spruceglen guests including the swimming pool, whirlpool, sauna, sundeck, fireside lobby for relaxing, cards, games or reading, free continental breakfast, and guest laundry.
On the beach near Artist Points' and the harbor, guests can easily walk to shops, restaurants, the lighthouse, marina, harbor and the Grand Marais Recreation Center and pool. We meet a variety of family vacation needs with king, queen, 2-bed, family or connecting rooms, all with in-room refrigerators.
Lutsen Mountains Alpine Slide Everybody likes a little thrill every now and then, and the Alpine Slide is ready to oblige. Getting there is half the fun with a leisurely chairlift ride to the summit of Lutsen's Eagle Mountain. Then hop on your sled and cruise down an exhilarating half mile of twisting, turning track back to the base.

If you have conformed reservations online for this place you better beware! This was our 5th year coming to Terrace Point. The past 2 years friends from Santa Fe NM joined us for a week as well. We rented 2 separate condo units for 1 week each for the past 2 years. Thank goodness our friends couldn't come this year! Grand Marais Hotel Company double booked our condo even though I had a confirmation email from this group. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told that the manger lived in the Twin Cities and that there was no other manager on the property. Management left two very young
