Bina Bird, MA LMFT-Haslet Counseling
One of my biggest strengths is that I am open-minded and non-judgmental. My philosophy is that you come as you are so that you can be as comfortable as possible. There is nothing you could tell me that would shock me, so there is never a need to feel shy or embarrassed. I collaborate with my clients to discover strengths and establish meaningful goals.

I will join you where you are and when you're ready I'll challenge you to move forward. I provide a supportive environment and am an active participant in the therapy process. I can help you move beyond past hurts and trauma, feel like yourself again, find peace and balance, and have happier, healthier relationships.
Services
Cash, check, debit/credit cards, FSA/HSA cards, accepted for payment and is due at the beginning of each session. For all other insurance companies, I am considered an out of network provider. Some insurance companies will reimburse you for out of network services. I can verify your benefits to see if your plan covers out of network services and at what amount.
Welcome to Haslet Counseling, I am glad you found us. You are looking for help and are wondering whether we are the right therapists for you or your family. You or someone you love is struggling and you know it is time to reach out for help. Whether this is your first time considering therapy or you've been in therapy before, I hope that I can make this process easier and a little less overwhelming.
You're tired of feeling overwhelmed and unhappy. You've tried to be strong and make things better on your own but it just isn't working. You may be hesitant to start therapy because of bad experienes with other therapists or not really knowing if it can help, but you know that something has to change.
Are you a parent who is worried about your child or teen? You know something is bothering them, but they refuse to open up. You're worried that they are not coping well with the stress of school, peers, or adjusting to a recent divorce or blended family. Maybe they have been self-harming or had thoughts of suicide.
If you're wondering whether couples therapy could help your relationship, the answer is probably yes. I say this because research shows that couples wait an average of 6 years before seeking help. Whether you're a committed couple needing help with communication skills or whether you're on the brink of divorce, admitting that you need help and reaching out can be hard.
