I bought a groupon for partial highlights, cut and blow out. The stylist doing my hair was over 20 minutes late and showed up with not even an "I'm sorry." I should have left then, but went against my better judgement and stayed. I asked for very natural highlights, just in my roots, to just recreate what was already done. I explained how I needed it done not too heavily so that it would growth out in a way where I didn't have an obvious root line. Well, that's exactly what I got. Went to have a bayalage last March and was not very happy with how it turned out. I had bayalage done a couple of times before from 2 other salons and I feel like it was not done as it should.
The color was not evenly spaced out with the highlights concentrated on one side and looking like it was bleached/dyed.
I waited a couple of weeks to react hoping the color would improve or settle in after a couple of weeks but it didn’t and even with the glaze it looked coppery.
The staff was very nice though. Maybe they do well with haircuts and uncomplicated hair coloring but need someone who really

Come on in if you want a bad uneven haircut with even worse service. I found this place because a friend of mine had gotten me a Groupon. I called and told them I had a Groupon and made the appointment.
When I got there my troubles began. First, they told me that they meant to call to re-schedule my appointment. Am I supposed to be psychic and realize telepathically that they wanted to re-schedule? I waited over 20 minutes for my appointment.

Do not buy a Groupon for this place. They say you can use one if you haven't been there within 12 months. I bought it and called and made an appointment. They told me I was there 2 years earlier and they would not honor it! My friend went in for her appointment today and was rudely turned away after being told they would honor her Groupon the day before (she hadn't been there for over a year). How could they have her walk in and change their mind?? Bad business. They just lost 2 customers, along with our friends.

Was here for a cut and blow and stylist Sandy made my hair awesome and updated. Not only did she suggest some great ideas like adding a few layers for the front of my face and layers throughout, enough to give my hair movement and body but she was super friendly. Can't wait to try Balayage with her in a couple of months which she showed me all the customers she has done them for. Very nice place and Sandy attended me at my scheduled time.

After seeing many negative reviews on here I was extremely hesitant to go, however I can happily say that I had nothing but a positive experience! I had Sandy as a hair dresser and she was absolutely wonderful. Extremely friendly and great to talk to. I was unsure of exactly what to do to my hair and she had awesome ideas for me.

I initially went in for a consultation after being referred by a friend. I met with the Cheryl (the owner) and she took me in right away. No wait time. She did a color correction and gave me exactly what I wanted when I didn’t even know what I wanted! He most important thing is that my hair a still manageable! Cannot say enough about Cheryl! I came in to have her fix my hair color. It needed lots of work and Cheryl did not disappoint. She fixed the color and blended the color beautifully and her cut really complemented it. So happy I chose Glam! Cheryl really listens and took her time to figure out the color blending. I've been to some of the best salons in nyc, but it never came out great especially doing blonde. I came to glam beauty since I now live in the area, with no expectations. It turned out AMAZING. My hair is super damaged from bleaching and dying back and forth, and discolored with box dye etc, but Cheryl did wonders. Would highly recommend and will be back soon! Thank you!!

First time I ever used a Groupon for a haircut. The shampoo girl and the hair stylist - Lori - where very nice. Lori did a great haircut, she did exactly what I asked her to do, so I am very happy. It's a very clean Salon & love the furniture - very modern, & Glam, & light colors. I can recommend Lori & this Salon. I will go back to Lori when I need my next trim again.

Highly disappointed with this salon. I was given a 9am appointment, Their website clearly states they open at 10am so I was confused and arrived around 9:20am. Instead of trying to accommodate me as a new customer I was sent away by whoever the manager is & a stylist named Lori. It was a clear miscommunication but I drove 25 mins to get there and they didn't even try to squeeze me in. "Every minute counts" she said. Fabulous, compliments all night! My appointment was with Cheryl D. at Glam for makeup and hair. It was my first visit to Glam, as I was traveling to attend a family wedding. Cheryl D. was incredibly sweet and talented. I showed her a picture of my dress and she complimented it with my eye makeup beautifully. The event was on a hot June day and both the makeup and hair held perfectly. The makeup felt light, the service at Glam was friendly. I would recommend Glam for anyone looking to make any day feel even more special. Thank you Cheryl!!

I bought a groupon with this place. Before i called, i looked online and saw many appts for Saturday, 12/30. I called, asked for an appt everything was good until I said, "i have a groupon." the lady then said 'Oh we are not taking groupon customers because it's a holiday weekend." Since when is 12/30 a Holiday? And, i was treated fine until said, I have a groupon. She was NOT a nice person and basically hung up on me when I said I would see what I can do with an appt. Don't put out groupons if you get nasty when people try to use them!! I have already notified

Lovely salon! We moved here from Europe this past winter. Once the weather broke we walked with our kids and I stumbled upon Glam. Such a gorgeous Salon. All white. So different from the Hair Salons in Europe. When I walked in and spoke to the stylist who ended up being the owner, her name is Cheryl. What a sweet soul. Very accommodating I had to change my appointment three different times. It wasn't an issue at all. When I finally got my color done, all I could say is WOW! I tried a few salons before finding Glam and I definitely found my new salon here in the States.

The owner is very unprofessional and lacks the people skills to run a business. She is clearly NOT a people's person. I have been coming to this salon for almost 2 years now and they have so much potential to be one of the top salons in Larchmont, if not Westchester. It is very sleek and modern inside, they have a couple of really great girls working there, use good products, and they keep the place clean, but that's where it ends

This place is excellent! My first time there was 2 weeks ago. Melissa was my stylist, and wow she is wonderful! I was a hot mess, my hair was in bad shape, and Melissa gave my hair life! I walked out of that salon Feeling and looking like a super star! I'm still getting compliments everywhere I go, and it just feels so good. I first visited GlamBeautybarnny back in the beginning of November 2016 it was my first visit and I had booked my appointment with the salon owner Cheryl. The first appointment went well until the it was time to pay the bill, which originally was purchased through Groupon, I was told it could not be used due to the work I needed and my bill was a few dollars short of $400. The second visit in December did not go well. When I called, I told them how tight my schedule was with the wedding I was going to. But still I sat, as they did hair and gossiped about people who had just left. Finally my turn. Let me just begin by saying that I am not one to ever write a review. But, I couldn't resist. Cheryl the owner is amazing and so very kind. I was 20 min late for my appointment and she was able to attend me with a smile on her face making me feel comfortable. I had a hard time explaining what I wanted, but Cheryl was able to see my vision with little detailed information. After years of going to the city for hair color and cuts, I finally found a place closer to home that I love! I just had my second balayage w Cheryl and I WORSHIP the color! She did an amazing job and the color and tone is perfect! She also hooked me up w a great blow-out, felt like a movie star when I left.
