Please be careful here. I got more of yellow highlights instead of blonde and it’s a little close to the roots. I also asked for layers and when I put my hair in the back it is so uneven. Half of my hair is a normal layer length and style and the other has a huge section that is much shorter than the rest of my hair.

I bought a Groupon for Microblading. I called for an appointment when I got there there was more than an hour and a half wait. The woman doing the micro blading was very unfriendly. By the time she got to me she just motions for me to go into the back room. I've never did micro blading and she knew it was my first time but she did not explain anything to me. When I was making the appointment she told me that certain people are not candidates for micro blading. I purchased a Groupon for a wash, conditioning treatment, cut and style. When I went to the appointment today, I was told the Groupon was only for a wash and cut. I informed the beautician, the Groupon indicators style too. The beautician said she knows. This is a BAIT and SWITCH, DO NOT BUY. You will end up spending more money or wasting your time.

I have been going to Ester for a while now. First for waxing and then for laser hair removal and carbon treatments. She is always very nice and informative. I got my eyebrows micro blading done by ester of course the first week they look great but after the healing process look like nothing was ever done just a few lines here at there I regret spending my money I did both my steps I went month and month back Bc it was a two month process I spend $280 plus tip for all that I would've just gotten my eyebrows tattooed I waste of my money I even text her phone and no reply neither...

THE ABSOLUTE WORST PLACE EVER!!!!! Not only did hair stylist rosa did not get the color i wanted she also ruined my shirt! My shirt got bleached, never from my past experience have i ever had my shirt ruined during getting it bleached at a salon. so upsetting.

STAY AWAY!!! THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS!!! My friend, an older lady, was referred to this place for eyebrow microblading by a nanny she met at our local playground. That woman (nanny) was nice enough to not only recommend this service, she also made an appointment for my friend and offered to drive her after her work hours...all this for a person she had only met a couple of times...that should have been a red flag on its own.

It says Walk-ins welcome but I'm not really sure how true that is because I walked in for a waxing session and I was told I need to make and appointment so I did and she was not only late for my appointment but there was another person waiting for her to show up too and she actually told us both to come at the same time. This was my first visit. I bought a Groupon for haircut style and conditioning. I had the worst experience ever! The person doing my hair was clearly not interested and was extremely rude and not at all welcoming. Even before she could start I had explained to her what I needed (which wasn't something unique - just length and layers to add volume) to which she nodded and still she ended up cutting my hair way to short even after telling her repeatedly where I wanted the length to be. If I could I would give them a zero star. She asked me not to buy groupon because she will give me groupon price but at the end she charged me two times more because my hair are heavy. Second, she bleached my hair so bad that my scalp is still burning. She has to reapply color three diff times because she didn't get the tone I originally requested.

Decent service although limited in styling forms, decent place of service if you don't have over specific styling wants and desires. I was was in and out for a touchup relaxer and roller set for a pixie in less than 3 hours. The service was good and the pricing was actually what brought me in to explore. Outside of the styling limits I would return.

I have been going to Esther's on and off for a couple of years. I usually go when I purchase a Groupon, and always leave wondering why I don't make this my full time salon. That is how good of a job the stylists do at this salon. My favorite hair artist is Clari. She is not only amazing at her job (cut and color) but she is sweet and so accomodating that she puts you at ease immediately.
The owner, Esther, is usually there and is very good. I recently got my brows microbladed and she did a phenomenal job. In the past I have gone to her for waxing and have never been disappointed. Look

I went to Ester for a full Brazilian wax I purchased off Groupon. It was great experience for me! She was very sweet, fast, and extremely efficient. The Salon is located inside of ShopRite, it has a parking lot, and to me it's a comfy, stylish, and overall great location. I am happy that after reading all the negative reviews yelp and Groupon I still decided to go because I now have a new regular spot to get waxed and that makes me and my boyfriend VERY HAPPY! Lol :-)

This business is a scam. NEVER USE GROUPON HERE!
My wife went here to get a Brazilian wax. We purchased a Groupon for 2 Brazilian at $22. Upon arriving and completing the wax, we were told there was an additional balance of $30, because Groupons price is wrong.
Why would we need to pay for something that was already purchased in full. On top of that, the lady at the front, who seemed to be the owner, told my wife not to bother using the Groupon, she can use it next time. What's the point of the Groupons?
The lady even tried to sell her laser treatment for hundreds of dollars.

Hidden Gem - Why do I say that? - This is the home to the greatest Barber in the Metropolitan Area - "Mike" - Hands down, Mike knows how to handle the razor; He gives an incredible straight razor shave and scissor hair cut. These guys are hidden inside the Shoprite Supermarket in New Rochelle. You can't miss them; just walk inside and you will see the Barber Shop on your right. :-)

Today I visited Ester's for the first time to get a Brazilian wax, along with my legs, underarms, and eyebrows. She was very professional. Very comforting with it being my first time, addressing all my concerns. She took her time, not rough in any way while completing the wax. Totally will be back every three weeks to wax again.
Ester's also does hair. Incuding braiding, coloring, perms, treatments, highlights, straightening, hair loss treatment, laser hair recovery for both men and women. Ester also does lashes and lash extentions.
