Acupuncture is the hub of my practice, but what I offer extends far beyond this treatment modality. My integrated holistic approach includes health coaching and complementary therapies to enhance the effects of acupuncture. This allows me to draw on the services of other medical professionals when necessary to ensure my patients are receiving the most effective, well-rounded care.
I am also 1 of only 8 people outside of Japan certified to teach Shakuju Therapy, a gentle non-insertive style of acupuncture that does not break the skin. To positively impact healthcare systems through the practice and teaching of integrated holistic applications of both Eastern and Western medicine.

Services
As an acupuncturist and holistic medical practitioner, I offer compassionate, comprehensive, and empowering healthcare. I can effectively help treat most conditions, from migraines and back pain to infertility and musculoskeletal issues. I am 1 of only 8 people outside of Japan certified to teach Shakuju Therapy, a gentle non-insertive style of acupuncture that does not break the skin.
Acupuncture is a needling technique that has been used for thousands of years to treat a variety of illnesses and injuries. Founded in China, this modality has advanced across the Eastern world, starting at around 100 B.C. The mind-body-spirit is treated as one in Eastern medicine traditions. While acupuncture is primarily used to treat physical issues, it is relaxing to the mind and emotions as well; hence a holistic approach.
Non-insertive acupuncture is the cornerstone of my practice because, in my experience, it most effectively targets the root causes, rather than simply treating symptoms. With this style of acupuncture, the needle is applied gently to the surface of the skin, giving a slight tickling or brushing sensation.
The complementary techniques I use amplify the therapeutic effects of acupuncture to promote long-term success. Bodywork techniques: Improve energy circulation and rebalance musculoskeletal systems (can include targeted tui na, gua sha and/or Zero Balancing). Acupuncture is the hub of my practice, but my complementary therapies and distinctive knowledge base of both Eastern and Western medicine are what really set me apart.
In conjunction with acupuncture treatments, I encourage my patients to practice healthy habits targeted to their unique physical and psychological ailments and challenges. Using diagnostic information, I target acupuncture treatments, tweak your diet, and provide specific supplements and lifestyle management recommendations to get you feeling better in the short and long term.

I've been going to Gracey Holistic Health for c. 2 months now, and have experienced tremendous improvement in the issues for which I've been going. Robert often uses a non-insertive technique, and when he uses insertive needles, they are the finer, Japanese type, and not very many. I am continually amazed and pleased at how effective this minimalist technique has been. Furthermore, Robert is very knowledgeable, not only about acupuncture, but also diet and exercise, and he's a very gentle soul. I highly recommend him.
