At Reed's Compounding Pharmacy, we customize medications to best suit your pets' needs. We are able to customize medications in capsules, transdermal gels and flavored suspensions that are desirable and easy to administer. We even make medicated treats! Animals often need customized medications as they can be quite particular about what they will ingest.

I was told they would call me the morning the prescription was ready... I had to call myself in the afternoon... When I got there there was a line... They let me in and I asked for an extra syringe which the lady showed she put in the bag.. now I'm home and it's not in there why would you take it out if you told me you were giving it to me? Doesn't make any dang sense

Sometime good....sometimes not. They say they will let you know when Rx is ready but then they mostly don't. Have to call to follow up yourself. Then that say oh yeah it's ready...(has been for days) but they fail to let you know. Then they text... Oh we gotta talk to you before we can fill (the same rx you've been on for years). So confusing and frustrating.

Extremely disrespectful and rude. Inefficient with speaking to the doctor to properly fill the prescription properly. Messages are incomplete. Disorganized. Not listening. Put me on hold 3x in one call, and medication was not properly filled. They treated me terribly not taking the care to be sure the right amount of medication is filled. Instead directing the question to me being nasty. Dealing with this company is like dealing with a back alley pharmacy which is not interested in completing an order correctly to the patient's needs but ignorant black and white thinking. Mostly for pets apparently. They could not get all the details of my orders right. They seem to have lost the concept that people go to a compounding pharmacy to make sure they don't get certain non-active ingredients in their scripts. They couldn't make it without plastics. The plastic parts melted into my meds. When oil is used as a carrier the bottle needs to be glass.
Used to be a good place. Instead of being super particular, compounding pharmacies are catering mostly to pets who can't really complain or know the difference.

I was prescribed a medication my MD recommended should be filled at a compound pharmacy. Reeds pharmacy is the closest one to me, being 4 hours away round trip. I got a notification my prescription was received and that I needed to call to have it filled with the business hours listed on it. I called and stated I will be there Tuesday (New Years day) and will be driving several hours to come get it, and it was set into motion. This place is one of Tucson's gems. We are so lucky to have a pharmacy here that can accommodate to our needs with such attention and care. I love coming to Reed's for all my pet needs. They were perfect to make medicine for my cat. They even flavored it in chicken which is her favorite flavor!!! They were very quick and attentive and their customer service is the best. I will definitely be back here for all of my needs for any future animals or even myself if I need it!

I called Reeds to get price on my dog's new med, Baytril. But lady that answered said they didn't have it. However she looked online and found a site that sold it for a lot less money than what my vets office wanted. Saved me about 100 dollars. I didn't get her name but I am very appreciative of her taking time and helping me out.

I have used Reed's on and off over the years for compounded scripts since they've opened. Am very pleased with their service and helpful employees, especially the pharmacists I've spoken with regarding my current scripts. Only thing I really dislike (which really doesn't have to do with Reed's service!) is the location and parking. So I time my visits when there is less traffic on Speedway (early mornings are best).

I have been using this pharmacy for more years than I remember and their service has always been great. I recently had a mix-up with the Doctor's office calling in an old prescription. Needless to say I picked it up and paid for it not realizing it was incorrect until a couple days later. I contacted the Doctor's office and they called the pharmacy. Reed's agreed to refill the correct perscriptions and exchange those with the incorrect ones I had already picked-up. EXCELLENT service that you just don't find these days. Run, don't walk from the retail part of this pharmacy. My experience has not been positive. I purchased 3 pairs of shoes about 7 months ago & was told by Amber who was in charge of that area at the time that the return policy was no matter what, if these shoes didn't fit or you didn't like the way they fit within a year could be returned for the full purchase price.

Inefficient. Slow. I was told my Rx would be ready at a certain time and it wasn't so I had to stick around that area of town for a couple hours to wait and it still wasn't ready! The next time I ordered a refill the girl over the phone said they could send it to me by mail, and when I got it 5 days later she failed to mention there would be a $5 charge to mail it. Next refill...I call around lunch time the day I was told it would be ready and I'm told it's coming out of the lab right now...

Working with Reed's Compounding Pharmacy was an enlightening experience and and an exciting place to see in action.The person at the counter was so nice and that helps right there.
I needed a very specific prescription for myself (thus the compounding part). The pharmacist that assisted me with instructions and questions was kind and informative in helping me along this new path in my life. He answered all my questions, expanded on explanations and answered the same question again when I needed to hear it twice.
