I would highly recommend Rye Harrison Veterinary Hospital. Dr. John Pisciotta and his team are very dedicated and knowledgeable with respect to the care of animals. Dr. Pisciotta and his staff have been treating my sweet cat for 8 years. Most recently she has been ill. During each step of her treatment plan Dr. Pisciotta. has checked in with me on a weekly basis to suggest further treatment options. Luna's health has improved due to his wonderful care and dedication.

Another review to mention rats and for anyone with small rodents or exotic animals. I am always pleasantly surprised by how quickly I can make an appointment, receive treatment, and get my pet returned with medications. I did the drop-off option, which included me dropping off my pet and the vet tending to him as soon as he got the chance. My rat was in an out within a couple hours. They were open with me about the cost of getting certain diagnostic procedure. For any one interested, it cost about ~$120 for the physical exam and medications.

Everytime we are their the service is excellent. The Doctors are caring And highly qualified.
I have had dogs my whole life and always look for Vets that treat our pets like family.
My only concern is the prices might be a little high. Although I really think they are comparable with all Vets. I would not take my dogs anywhere else.
These Vets are worth it all.
Thanks

Great experience from start to finish! We are first time owners to a sweet Golden Retriever puppy girl! Leia had some digestive issues from the day we brought her home. Needless to say, we were very anxious. Dr. Livingston and staff took us right away and took great care of our Leia. We would highly recommend Rye Harrison Vets!

If it were possible to leave a negative amount of stars, I would. If you want your animal to survive an injury, avoid this place AT ALL COSTS. My dog was taken there by my ex husband weeks after she apparently broke her foot and it somehow became severely infected. She was extremely ill when I was able to get her back and I was very concerned that she would not live. Their protocol was illogical and exorbitantly expensive. I followed it for a week as she became weaker. I ultimately decided to take her for a second opinion and got sound medical advice. She began to recover immediately under the

We are so disappointed in Rye Harrison Vet after a year of using them as our pet's care provider. The reception staff is incredibly unfriendly and are not at all helpful. Each time I call the hold time is long, and most recently, once finally off hold, I was hung up on before before they even said "hello". Their pharmacy has given us the wrong dosage for their heartworm preventative medicine and has charged for it and its replacement - they've still failed to refund the double charge and I am sad to say we've given up on that. We were so excited when we met with a different

I had taken pets from birds to fish to gerbils to Dr. Piscotta in the past but unfortunately I moved away. That was unfortunate. He is a rare gem of a vet for his care, knowledge, and skill! He examined my parrot, reviewed the tests that I brought him, and gave me a clear explanation of his assessment and recommendations. The icing on the cake is that he gave my sweet parrot the best beak and nail trim he has received since I adopted him a decade ago!

I have been a customer of this wonderful veterinary practice for almost fifteen years. It has the best and kindest doctors and office staff. I have two dogs and have brought a hamster and recently our chinchilla. Dr. Pisciotta is a leading expert on exotic pets. This capable staff diagnosed my dog with a chronic illness and saved her life. Great place!

I don't know which is more impressive - the level of care or the authenticity of their love and concern for the animals they see. Our dog has had the privilege of being a client/patient of theirs for his entire 15-year life. I credit their attention to this health and well being with his long-life. They are the best!

Thank goodness for Rye Harrison Veterinary Hospital! We live close by and drove straight there when our dog sounded like she was choking and shaking and they took us right in! Gave her fluids and antibiotics (she ended up having Kennel Cough from a recent trip we took with her). They were beyond fantastic!!!

The vet seemed polite and professional. However, there's an emphasis on testing, some of which are not necessary. An explanation should be given about each test they propose along with the cost. I was presented with a bill for $700 after my card was inserted for processing and I questioned what I was being charged for. One test for feline leukemia on both cats was not explained by use of an acronym so that I had no idea what the test involved but agreed on faith. But, the cats are 9 years old, stay indoors and the need for this was not explained as necessary but as a good idea in case

We had an impromptu visit to have two lumps checked out and have found our new favorite vet! Dr. Green was wonderful with our scaredy dog. We have a pitbull that wouldn't hurt a fly (literally) and it's so refreshing to visit with a vet that is comfortable handling her. We appreciated that she got down on the floor rather than forced our pup up on the tiny table. The gentleness and ease transcended to our dog -in the end making the entire affair enjoyable. We had a really great tech too, I wish I could recall her name. I'm a bit of a control freak with my dog (I'm sure

There is not enough space for me to praise this practice. From the moment you call, the front office staff is immediately willing to help you whether it is making an appointment or reordering food or medicine. Doctor Fabiano is the most empathetic vet that I have met in years. He truly knows my pets and more importantly knows me. He had taken such special care of my dogs individually and it is truly amazing how he knows each one's personality. The most important aspect of a vet for me is that I can get in for an appointment when something is wrong with one of my pets and Rye Harrison always
