As teenagers together racing drag cars on and off the track, building race cars and restoring Model A's, Mustangs and Thunderbird's, the foundation of Spears Automotive was built with deep roots in the glory years of automotive renaissance.
Spears mechanics saved our road trip! They fit us into their schedule, diagnosed the problem (rodent damage to spark plug wire), installed the new part and fixed it in one day. They also checked the front brakes, confirmed a repair was needed but that it could wait until we got to Arizona. They definitely went above and beyond to help us out.

We were moving my son from Tucson and stopped in Bernalillo NM for the night. The next morning my 2001 F-250 sounded like the engine was blown.
We had it towed to Spear's and after some diagnosing they discovered that it was a massive fuel leak that was caused by a electrical connection that goes through the valve cover and caused all the injectors on that side to not work. He was we to clean up the connector and get the truck working again.
We thought we were looking at around $10,000 or more to replace the engine but we ended up spending less than $1,000.

Great work at a great price! People don’t understand the value of an extremely great and highly skilled technician these days. The fact that vehicles are getting more and more complicated, highly accentuates that particular fact. There is more time, training and tools associated with keeping your vehicle on the road these days! Not to mention the fact that mechanics have to pay for all of their tools out of their pockets! Spear’s Automotive has great, knowledgeable technicians who are dedicated to their trade; keeping up with the times (upgrading software for their diagnosis tools constantly

We stopped here for an oil change on my mini cooper while on a cross country road trip. They were able to fit us in right away, didn't have the filter in stock but were able to get one within 20 minutes and were so very friendly and thorough. The mechanic who worked on my car thoroughly explained the code he pulled up for my check engine light, and the man at the front desk was personable, easy to talk with and gave us great recommendations for stops on our trip. Prices were fair and work was quality. 5 stars!
