The long-term healthcare industry is changing and so are Medicare and Medicaid eligibility requirements. At Windsor Houston our residents come first. Maintaining quality of life through skilled nursing and rehabilitation is what makes us proud. Wound Care, IV Therapy, Respiratory Care and an in-house rehabilitation team are a few select services that make our nursing home different.
Unlike others who contract their therapists, Windsor Houston has an in-house and full-time therapy team. This means our residents see the same occupational, speech or physical therapists daily, which builds a strong line of trust and rapport. At the Windsor Houston nursing home, education has always been a top priority.

Im very sad today my Dad died at this place. We were about to take him home because we didn't like the care he was getting at this place. The docter they have here is lazy not good. He didnt give good care to my father. Some of the nurses are rude. Administration are nice but they promise but that's it. I don't understand why they have the ratings they have. Please be careful horrible place!!!

I have been at Windsor Houston for about 4 weeks now, doing my internship as an administrator. So far, I have had a wonderful experience. The staff is very friendly, easy to approach, willing to assist. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for employment, admit a family member, or training. The facility is well taken care of, very clean, happy residents. I would love to work here, if the opportunity presents itself.

I volunteer at this facility and it is by far the cleanest, and most friendly nursing facility i have been in. I enjoy coming here because the residents are always clean and happy. The patients are always up and engaged in the activities, I really enjoy coming here weekly to help out and see everyone.

My family and I recently admitted our cousin. I wasn't that impressed with Windsor but am will to give it a chance.
I admire the cleanliness of the rooms and hallways thus far. The nursing staff is a little unorganized and not totally in sync with the Assessment on new patient. Again I will take into consideration that it was a weekend admit. But still not an acceptable excuse. in the past i have over rated a facility caring for a loved one and at the end of the stay i felt cheated. Patient care, rehabilitation, since of urgency, monitoring patients in a timely manner and a multitude of other

My grandma was staying at this facility. She had a full closet of clothes. But anything that goes to the laundry room doesn't necessarily come back. When I visit her. She was wearing random clothes from other patients.
She was almost a 100 years old so she didn't walk around. She would just be sitting in her wheel chair. She slipped out of her chair 2-3 times while she was here at this place. That shows how neglected she was. She fell out when she was in the lunch room. The no accident sign for how ever many days is bs...
The business center never processed her paper work w the wheel chair vendor

Windsor looks like a nice place is the reason I placed my mother there. I regret it now. All I get are crying complaint phone calls and text messages from my mother about how rude the staff has been to her and how unprofessional they are. Someone from the state who really cares about these people in nursing homes needs to make a thorough walk through and interview each individual who is capable to do so get their chance to voice how unhappy they are living there. If I was a Nurse or Aid I would definitely treat each individual as if they were my grandparents, parents, a family member, or a friend
