Milieu Salon Spa opened in 2007 to bring downtown Seattle boutique ambiance to the west end of Stanwood. The main floor is dedicated to providing current trends in hairstyles and color services while the second floor offers a restful and quiet spa retreat to promote pampering and relaxation. Milieu also features paintings from local area artists throughout the salon.
Leslie has been serving clients of all ages, genders, and hair types- fine, curly etc. since 1983. She has been co-owner of Milieu Salon and Spa since 2007. Her focus is on natural and botanical hair care and products with emphasis on the individual needs of clients. Extensive training in cutting and color with professional styling lines such as Aveda, Matrix, and Redkin.
Our team takes pride in being highly trained by the best beauty and wellness has to offer. Using only high quality and environmentally friendly products. We are passionate about what we do and why we do it. We celebrate people's individuality, helping them create a cut and color as unique as they are.
Waxing for hair removal cannot be preformed on clients who are taking Accutane, Retin-A, or antibiotics, as this may cause skin sensitivity. The hair length must be at least 1/4 inches or 3-4 weeks worth of growth. We also recommend that you wait 24 hrs after waxing before sunbathing, tanning, or swimming.
At Milieu Salon, we have researched many organic and botanical product lines. We are dedicated to selecting only the best, so you don't have to compromise performance, or the health of your hair. Our philosophy is to maintain a renewable and sustainable process. All our packaging is recyclable and we require a minimum of 25% post-recyclable plastic in our bottles.

I had a wonderful experience at the salon today with Danielle P! This was my first time getting my hair done at this salon. Danielle looked at my "inspiration" photos and went over a couple options with me and showed me some color swatches. I'm glad she showed me those because after seeing them I realized I didn't actually want red highlights like I originally thought 🤣 Super happy with her suggestions so I stuck to blonde with more of a brown blend of highlight rather than the red. Danielle was very thorough with the foils/balayage while also working efficiently! The prices here are very comparable

Went in yesterday for highlights in white and purple on my red hair. Kim was my stylist. After choosing a very dark purple in a temporary color (in case I didn't like it , at least I wouldn't be stuck with it for 6 months). once the foiling was done and she washed it and toned it she started noticing that there were green spots in some of the purple stands. She kept saying she didn't understand how this could of happened. as she was drying it more green spots appeared. she called over another stylist and showed her and they were both perplexed. There was green areas in the purple

I love that if I'm unable to schedule with Natalee for one of my extremely short notice appointments, I feel completely comfortable scheduling with any of the lovely ladies here! Extremely happy first time customer here! My hair feels absolutely amazing, borderline celebrity-esque. I have very longish, curly hair that is frequently a lion's mane. Saw Natalie today for a trim and blowout. Natalie is doing an externship at the salon and is technically a trainee, but you would not know it. She was extremely thorough, conscientious, very pleasant, and made me feel at ease. I requested a trim (1 inch), wanting to keep the length, and got it! This is the first time in 30 years a stylist has respected this basic request of just a little trim and shape up, instead of taking more

I visited this salon for the first time today and am so glad I did. Kim was my stylist and she was wonderful...so knowledgeable about fine thin hair. I've been looking for 20 years to find just the right hairdresser...this is it! I came home with a darling haircut..one that's just perfect for me! Fantastic job, Kim.

Warm, welcoming atmosphere, knowledgeable staff. When I walked in I was immediately greeted, offered something to drink, and everyone smiled. I had a drastic hair style change and Kim worked with me on what would work best for my hair type. She was skillful and kind and made me feel very comfortable.

Move to Camano Island two years ago from Seattle and was worried about finding a good salon. No need to worry ....this is a fabulous Salon in Stanwood and I am thrilled with all of their services. Robin is extremely talented and fun to spend a couple of hours with.. all of my friends rave about my haircut and color. You won't be disappointed.
