For more than 40 years, the TCCP has offered families a play-based cooperative preschool that creates a learning environment that inspires children and adults to discover, create, learn and grow together. Our preschool balances structured, teacher-lead time with free play during which children can express themselves, move at their own pace and interact with other children at their own comfort levels.
We offer morning and afternoon classes for 3, 4 and young 5-year- olds. Classes are small with an excellent adult to child ratio that averages 1 adult per four children. We offer a flexible schedule and parents are always welcome throughout the school day.

Thank you so much for checking out our cooperative preschool. This is a special place built on values of community support, family involvement, and playing together for 50 years! I found the co-op 4 years ago while looking for preschool for my son. I was a stay at home mom and wanted him to have social experiences, but was also reluctant to send him all day or give up my time with him.
This class is designed for those children who will be entering Kindergarten the following fall. Children should be age 4 prior to June. 1st. Classes meet on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoon from 1 to 3:30.
Your child will enjoy opportunities for self-directed play, sensory and artistic experiences, body awareness activities through fine and gross motor development, develop social-emotional skills, expressive/receptive language communication, and small or whole group skill focus in the areas of literacy, visual/auditory perception, memory, science and math.

Our classroom is set up to foster creative play that leaves room for the imagination. Play develops skills that, later in life, will be known as initiative, abstract thought, creative problem solving and compassion. Children in the sensory areas are problem solving, measuring and estimating, and learning to cooperate and share.
