Each of our licensed practitioner has a focus of practice to help you with your health conditions. We welcome both western and eastern medicine. In our experience the integration of both complement each other. Yoevita is the owner and founder of Light & Joy Acupuncture. She is a California Board Licensed Acupuncturist and Nationally Certified Acupuncturist.
It is important to stay connected to friends and family for support. After giving birth, a new mom may feel isolated from others as she is constantly caring for her newborn. Isolation can lead to feelings of sadness and depression. Many women feel embarrassed about these feelings and become reluctant to share.

Terrible communication. I am past my due date and I couldn't get paperwork sent to my email and they just wanted to cancel my appointment because I couldn't make the appointment they made. I told the receptionist I couldn't, but she insisted that it be at that time even though I have a medical appointment that can't be moved because I'm getting a membrane sweep. The receptionist doesn't care about people. She couldn't have been more dismissive and discouraging about this whole process. I have no idea if their acupuncture practices are any good, and I never will due to the receptionist.

I never saw myself doing "needles", but Yoevita has me doing that and so much more. She has shown me that the needles are nothing to be afraid of ... in fact, they make you feel so much better! I could not be as active in my ballroom dancing with her helping with the pains of aging. I owe my mobility to her. Thank you so much!

It is practically impossible to find care like this in Los Gatos. Especially from a practice that accepts insurance. Yoevita has been a godsend helping me through cancer treatments. I was referred to her by my doctor to prevent dry mouth, a side effect from radiation, and it worked!! I was able to keep eating and didn't get any painful mouth sores. Beyond being skilled and effective, she's probably the most caring and compassionate practitioner that I've ever come across. She's truly doing what she loves and her passion is to help people. When you love what you do and you're passionate about it

They are wonderful when you are in need. I have gone to them for induction on both of my pregnancies and they helped encourage my babies to come without pitosin. I have also seen them for help with a lingering cold and flu. I would recommend them anytime and they are helpful even if you are afraid of needles.

I have been a patient of Yoevita's since she was at her first clinic. Her gentle touch has worked miracles on my chronic pain.
While Yoevita was on maternity leave, I started having Iris treat me. She uses different points than Yoevita and she asks in depth questions to get to the bottom of what is ailing me..
It's a very clean and comfortable in that clinic.

Kaile is very gentle with her acupuncture technique - she's very focused on what areas she wants to address in a session and explains what she's doing and why. I know I do feel better afterwards and it increases over time. I love the fact that her goal is to get you back to optimal health and to just come in for a tune up when you need.
I don't like needles, so Kaile uses the smallest ones they have and I hardly feel them going in - and they are very effective. She's very sensitive about your comfort level. It's a very relaxing hour.
