We will open Thursday through Saturday 10 - 6 and Sunday 10 - 4 for several weeks. Some of our falls offerings will include mums of course, but also pansies, asters, ornamental cabbage and kale, celosia, grasses, pumpkins, and gourds. Come inside to the showroom for succulents and houseplants, and just possibly get spooked by a few fall decor items.
Our usual offerings of soils and mulches, lawn, weed, and insect treatments will be on hand. We still have a nice selection of roses, trees, shrubs, and select perennials which will be offered at reduced prices. Fall is a great time to plant all these items with just long enough to settle in before winter and then flourish with next spring's rains.

Plants by Wolfangel is a charming little place that seems to have been around forever in Anderson. Sure you can find more things at these large stores that seem to junk everything in under the sun and perhaps save a dollar, but at PBW the selection will be of higher quality items that won’t die next week. There seems also an artistry to the way the plants are arranged both in the outdoor and indoor spaces, and the knowledgeable and friendly staff will gladly answer your questions and make some suggestions if you wish. Perhaps not your place if you’re a contractor looking to fill out

The place is very nicely put together. The plants are cared for and the store is very cute.
The energy of the people overall (except one) and the signage leave a lot to be desired and shows that the store is for the owner, not the customers.
The sign in entry when read gives a feeling of “this is my place follow my rules”. I don’t recall what the exact words were, but it was the feeling that mattered. My wife read the sign and thought I was too sensitive to its message. Then there were other signs. Near plants. At checkout. By the time we left, she was telling me that the messages as well

This is a small nursery and landscape store. Very friendly and professional staff. With the current pandemic you are asked by sign in front to wear a mask due to the small staff wanting to remain healthy so that we can enjoy shopping here. They all wear masks as well. I love coming to PbW. I find some really nice items and plants. Pricing is relatively the same as you see at the big box stores. They might be higher on some items but they are lower on others and I've always found items on sale and offered at exceptional savings.

I recently moved to this side of town and was missing the White Oak Garden Center. My neighbor told me about Plants By Wolfangel and I am glad he did! I loved it. Very clean organized and I found the plants I needed. Very friendly owner who was helpful and not pushy. Lots of lawn ornaments I will be back!

I absolutely LOVE this place!! Great plants and pottery and friendly and helpful staff. I had been looking everywhere for a string of pearls plant and I finally found it here! A lovely, healthy plant in a 6 inch pot for a great price for how healthy it is. Since I've taken it home, it has grown like crazy!! I find new little pearls every single day!!! I can't recommend this place enough. In fact, I have a friend that visits from out of town every month and I took her here with me one week and she bought the less healthy string of pearls that they had. The ladies who work there are so great too

Not your hardware store type of nursery. The staff here are very knowledgable and noticeably keep busy tending to and caring for the plants. I find unusual items and huge items, like the begonias for example. I enjoy buying small items for containers, some herbs and veggies (hope they keep offering amazing brussels sprouts babies!) and I also buy a few big items. Always I find things that receive compliments all summer long. Despite the staff keep busy, they are always helpful. Speak up and you are sure to learn something new about an interesting or well-known plant. Oh, great perennials! Truly

I've been here 5 or 6 times. Every experience has been great! Great selection of perennials, annuals, vegetables, bushes and decorations. The staff has always been super friendly and willing to help find the right plant that I'm looking for. I'm from a small town, and buying a house "in the city" has been a huge adjustment for me. The folks here make me feel like I'm back home with people I can talk to and get the best help available. Not just people who want my money.

I've spent days looking for bonsai trees. I finally found them at one place (30 minutes from my work) and Wolfangel (15 minutes from work). I called them to find out if they had bonsai trees. I was told "yes, we have many varieties to choose from." I took my lunch hour for work to pick one up for my husband for his birthday, only to find they had one small, ill-looking bonsai tree in stock. Wasted my lunch hour, and won't be able to go anywhere else before his birthday tomorrow. Thanks for lying. You'll never have my business again.

I always shop around for my plants (comparing price) but I always end up here. Staff is knowledgeable, but come across as more introverted. If you explain what you want, and the place you want to put it, they are awesome!
Tell them "I need something hardy that will be in full sun... and impossible for even a person like me to kill" and they will point you in the right direction.

I love this place, I won't go anywhere else. Every time I've been ther staff have always been available and knowledgable when I've needed them and their selection is the best in town. After the sinkhole I was so nervous they wouldn't be back but I am so thankful and grateful that they stuck it out for us locals. Their new store (in the back of their old location) is in a smaller space but somehow seems larger to me. The store is very well laid out, and easy to navigate.
