First off, thanks for taking the time to check out Meason Orthodontics. I'm excited to meet you in person and help you on your smile journey, but until then, let me give you a bit of my professional and personal background so you can get to know a little more about me. After graduating from New Deal High School, a small school just north of Lubbock, I attended Texas Tech University and earned a degree in architecture.

I went here for a consultation. This is the third office I went to just to weigh out different opinions.
He told me he couldn’t help me because my teeth are “basically straight” and that I would need jaw surgery to fix the issues I have and that “he needs to sleep at night” so he won’t put me in braces.
What I concluded at the end of the consultation was that he only really cares about teeth being straight and the bite being functional even if it is cosmetically unpleasing. He uses old practices that allow all of the teeth to be pulled back rather than forward to support the face

The staff at Meason Orthodontics went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and welcomed for each of my visits. Everyone is extremely professional, kind, and relatable. I believe Dr. Meason and LaDawn make a great team and that resulted in everything going very smoothly. I also appreciate the preventative measures the office has in place regarding the virus and they seem concerned with keeping everyone as safe as possible. Dr. Meason and his entire staff have been warm and welcoming from our very first consultation visit. Everyone in the office strives to make parents, siblings and patients as comfortable as possible. My daughter has a great experience each time she is there(she really likes that she gets to watch Sponge Bob during her appt😄). Even during an unpleasant part of a visit, she is surrounded by a caring staff that puts her needs first, going so far as to hold her hand and speak comforting words to help her through. We are very impressed with Dr Meason and his staff. They are very patient and willing to work with the patient and their family. We went in there with a particular plan in place and my daughter was very anxious about it so Dr Meason changed the plan around in order to calm her and make her comfortable. Very impressive and flexible. I will be recommending this office to everyone.
