Services
Yellowstone Physical Therapy opened in Livingston, Montana in 1999 with the idea of giving quality, ethical, one-on-one physical therapy care, without utilization of aides, in a friendly and fun environment. Although we have had some changes in location and staff throughout the years, our commitment to quality one-on-one physical therapy care has never changed.
KJ (Kathleen Joann or Kathy Jo) Schretenthaler was born and raised in Beach, North Dakota. She graduated from the University of North Dakota with a Bachelors of Science degree in Physical Therapy in 1988. Her early career was spent in Bismarck, ND and then Reno, Nevada, before she moved to Livingston in 1996.
Yellowstone Physical Therapy professional staff members assess and treat patients with a wide spectrum of conditions. Based on our evaluations and your recovery goals, we design and implement an individualized treatment plan that will most safely and effectively achieve your goals. Manual therapy: joint mobilizations, muscle energy techniques, soft/deep tissue mobilization, transverse friction massage, passive stretching.
Physical therapists in many states, including Montana, are allowed direct access, meaning you do not need a referral from your doctor. However, many insurance companies require you to have one in order to cover physical therapy services. It is best to check with us or your insurance company if you aren't sure of your policy's guidelines.
Yellowstone Physical Therapy is a provider for many insurance plans, and we will file claims with most companies for you. Please contact your insurance company or our office manager if you are uncertain whether Yellowstone Physical Therapy is a provider for your insurance plan.
