The Acupuncture Society of Virginia (ASVA) is a professional membership organization of Licensed Acupuncturists (L.Ac.s) dedicated to promoting the practice of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Our mission is to uphold high professional ethics and standards by monitoring and supporting legislation regarding professional standards and public safety and to educate the general public regarding the nature and scope of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.We support clinical research verifying the effectiveness of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

Services
Service on the ASVA Board is open to any Virginia licensed acupuncturist who is a current member of ASVA. Board members serve for a term of two years, and can serve for no more than 3 consecutive terms. Members are elected yearly at the annual meeting. If there is a vacant spot or an officer has resigned mid-term, a member may be appointed by the Board and ratified by the membership at the subsequent annual meeting.

This firm investigates all legislation and rules that may have an impact to our profession in the Commonwealth of Virginia. A statewide website where you can list information about yourself and your practice for free.
