Staff were great, the process of getting tested for COVID was quick and easy. I really appreciated the process of it being all done online prior to going and not having to go inside in a crowded room. You can simply walk up to the trailer and it’s all handled outside. I’d recommend an early appointment to avoid lines. I went during the week and early and it took 1 minute to get it done.

Hard to believe this kind of place exists anymore - especially in a city. It's the true neighborhood pharmacy that can get you about anything you need, including a smile. The people are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. In the days of COVID, their rapid PCR test has been a lifesaver on a few occasions. Highly recommend for anything you need.

Our toddler daughter is afraid of shots and she got both COVID shots at Grubb's. It took a long time (almost an hour!) with lots of crying to muster the courage to finally get the shot. The staff was extremely kind, patient, and encouraging which we really appreciated. Thanks to the staff for helping us!

I have been trying to reach the pharmacy for the last 3 days to check the status of a prescription that was sent to them last week. I have not been able to reach anybody and have left several messages with no call back. I received a text message in response yesterday apologizing and giving me a direct extension to dial, but no one has answered that either. I have left several other messages since then. I initially transferred my pharmacy needs to Grubb's because I wanted the quality of care that I expect from a small local pharmacy, and this experience has made me think that this pharmacy is not

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ACTUALLY NEED A COVID TEST RESULT FOR TRAVEL. I made a reservation for a rapid PCR test. The calendar allowed for 12 tests per hour. When I arrived early for my 1030 am appointment, there were already 20 people in line (which was mathematically impossible if everyone actually had an appointment even if they had conducted no other tests since the 9am opening). I waited an hour. When I finally arrived at the front of the line, the tester admitted that most of the people in front of me had no appointments, but she just felt “so sorry for them.” As a result, she had exhausted

Do not trust Grubb's if you need a specific COVID test within a certain time window for travel. The tests returned results later than promised and one member of our party showed up to get a test but was told there was none of that kind left. Paying $200 out of pocket for such service is simply unacceptable. There is a much better (albeit farther) testing site outside Macy's in Arlington that returned the results we needed in 45 minutes, despite having to drive over there after Grubb's failed to do so just hours before our international flight.

Our family have used Grubb pharmacy multiple times for Covid testing for travel purposes. They are always friendly, efficient and professional. We love supporting a community pharmacy and we so appreciate that Grubb's is doing such a great job providing testing/vaccines and education to Hill families.

Absolutely horrendous customer service. I had to spend several days chasing them down to get them to fill the prescription that my doctor had sent. At first they claimed they didn't have the order, and then once they found it, they said they had to transfer it to another Grubbs location but made it my problem to keep calling the second location to see if they received it yet. Meanwhile my health condition was getting worse because I didn't have the meds I needed. Also, they only answer the phone about half the time. Took nearly four days of calling back and forth to get my script filled

This has to be DC's worst pharmacy. I thought CVS was the worst but no this location takes the cake! They never answer the phones. Ever, never, ever, never when I call in to refill prescription.
Going to switch pharmacies has I never want to step foot in here or call the number because they never answer!

Worst customer service on the planet. Not just worst customer service for a pharmacy in DC, or a pharmacy period. Just plain old terrible customer service. They may be the oldest pharmacy in DC but it's time for them to close the doors on this sad, pathetic operation. They will never, I repeat NEVER answer the phone. I have often spent over 30 minutes on hold waiting for them to answer the phone. Today, after 42 minutes I finally had to hang up for a conference call.
Their total inability to answer the phone is matched by their complete ambivalence towards their customers when you are inside

This pharmacy is 50/50 with me, meaning, when I can get ahold of someone, they are somewhat OK. What angers me most about this place is that they advertise for customers to use their text line to send them messages and half the time I send the texts, they DO NOT ANSWER. Mark aka POP, is a nice guy but some work needs to done about answering that text line. The only reason I still deal with them is because one of my medications I cannot get filled any place else, but my other meds, I use another pharmacy. Also, if it wasn't for Doretha and John helping me, I wouldn't have given them but

I can't give them a great review and wouldn't have even visited here had they not been one of the few pharmacies that could fill the order I had to get.
Unfriendly customer service.
Do you really want someone that runs a pharmacy like this (read his comments) filling your prescription? Go to CVS it's easier faster and cheaper:

Fast service, helpful and mindful employees. They have both simple and complex supplies.
The pharmacy is open same hours I believe and they even have a fitting room. That way I could try on my knee brace which came in many sizes and types but the lady was very helpful and quick.
I will return if I need anything else :)

Don't expect anyone with logic to be working. There is a reason they had to put up a No Cursing and No Yelling sign, because they are so awful everyone curses and yells!
They have the worst service in the world. They never complete or follow thru. It's pathetic. I try to support local but I'd switch to Walgreens in a heart beat if they opened next door.
