Dr. Alan Nohr is a native of Washington State, having grown up in the city of Bothell. He graduated in 1985 with a bachelor's degree in zoology, and in 1989 with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery, both from the University of Washington. He went on to complete a postdoctoral residency program at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.

My first appointment with Dr.Nohr’s office and it went very well. Elke was amazing and she put my dentist-phobia at ease. Dr.Nohr is very thorough and transparent when explaining what is going on with my dental health and discussing next steps. Anna at the front desk was very nice as well and professional with scheduling. All in all, very happy with my decision to choose this office as my dentist! I will be back for my cleaning next week and will update this review after.

Dr Nohr and his staff are awesome. I've been coming here for years and have always had very pleasant, pain free visit- whether it's getting a cleaning or a new crown. The receptionist and billing department are very helpful and prompt with any insurance questions I've had and Dr Nohr and his team are so wonderful at answering my many questions about my treatment plan. They genuinely care about their patients it shows. I highly recommend.

I've only seen Dr. Nohr once so far, for a consultation to understand why I was having so much difficulty after work done by another dentist. Dr. Nohr was extraordinarily generous and patient, listening carefully and piecing together the difficult set of experiences that resulted in my current pain and dysfunction. He explained things much more carefully and thoroughly than the dentists who performed the questionable work. I feel confident that he will be able to help me regain my dental health. All of the members of his office staff with whom I interacted were also caring and competent.

I am so impressed by Dr. Nohr's team and their attention to detail! I was able to get in for my first appointment in a timely matter. I was impressed by the cleanliness of his office. I felt my new patient visit was extremely through and Dr. Nohr was able to address the very specific and technical issues going on with my teeth. After two visits, I switched my whole family over to this practice because I was so impressed.

I have insane anxiety in the face of dental surgery. I showed up shaking, crying, embarrassed - hardly making eye contact with anyone. Every person in the office delicately showed their support and care, making sure I was absolutely comfortable. I ended up falling asleep for part of the procedure, and during the times in it where I had anxiety, the lovely Dental Assistant had us breathing together, calming me down once more. The dentists that worked with me talked me through all of my tears before the procedure. I felt so embarrassed, and they reminded me repeatedly that they weren't here to judge

I've been too many dentists over my life but Dr. Nohr and his staff are by far my most favorite. They are professional but at the same time extremely easy going easy to talk to and friendly. I just had oral surgery yesterday and had an extraction and 2 implants placed. I was able to choose what kind of sedation I wanted and this entire experience was so positive it's still hard to believe. I have absolutely no pain one day after the surgery feel great not bruised or swollen or anything!! I know this is the dentist for me I will have my two teeth back soon and I can smile again. I have had many traumatic and painful dental experiences in my time. For whatever reason (possibly I'm a red head) my teeth can't completely get numb and it's stressful every time.
