My name is Mary Cox and I have been a licensed practicing Physical Therapist since 1981. During that time, I have treated every diagnosis under the sun. I have worked in dozens of clinics and helped thousands of patients. My patients have not only experienced relief from chronic pain, they have also gained back their mobility and improved their quality of life naturally, your results may vary.
We are glad that you would like to know a bit more about Mary Cox's training and experience. As you will see, Mary has a unique blend of training and years of experience that have produced results for grateful patients. If fact, several doctors and other physical therapists will send their patients to her when there are issues they can't resolve.
This video demonstrates the process of Manual Physical Therapy while treating abdominal scarring on an actual patient. Manual physical therapy is best described as "The application of an accurately determined and specifically directed manual force to the body, in order to improve mobility in areas that are restricted in; joints, in connective tissues or in skeletal muscles" (Korr, 1978).
Then a physical therapy evaluation and treatment will be done. A discussion of findings, treatment, goals, home program, what to expect, appointments scheduled and payment will be collected. This gives us more time for treatment. Visits are typically 60 - 90 minutes long. This gives me time to collect information, reschedule visits, collect payment and a full hour or more of hands-on treatment.

Mary is a miracle worker when it comes to specialized physical therapy. She has worked wonders on my many ailments, from post surgical abdominal internal scar tissue, to sciatica, to horrible bouts of digestive/intestinal problems, and more. Her treatments have been invaluable for my daughter, a professional dancer. She has also helped my husband with cycling and exercise induced physical problems. I once asked her how in the world she knows so much more than so many other doctors and specialists who were unable to help me.
