Acupuncture has been used for at least 5000 years in the East and Asian cultures and has arrived in the Western cultures in recent years, providing alternative health care. Acupuncture is the method of using acupuncture needles, or other means, to stimulate certain points (acupoints) along the body to restore the balance and flow of energy (Qi) in the body.
Pediatric services are available at Rhee's Acupuncture. Dr. Olivia Rhee specializes in treating Kids. While at Acupuncture School, she had studied under and assisted the well-known professor/practitioner, Alex Tiberi, L.Ac. The above list is long but not in any means complete. Sound and Color Healing is now offered at our office. Afraid of needles? No problem. Dr. Olivia Rhee can use other methods i.e. Tuning forks, color, light, etc. to help heal your ailments. As a Certified TamaDo Practitioner, and based on Chinese/Asian medicine, tuning forks and/or color lights are used on Acupuncture points.
It was discouraging that after several weeks there was no relief from the pain and discomfort. My husband encouraged me to try acupuncture, as he himself had been a patient. I was treated by Dr. Olivia Rhee and after a couple of treatments, experienced relief from the pain and had a better outlook on everyday activities.
Do you accept Insurance? Yes, as long as your insurance plan covers Acupuncture and its related services. The best thing would be to call your insurance company and ask if Acupuncture is covered under your plan. Even though we might be an in-network provider with an insurance company, that does NOT necessarily mean your plan covers acupuncture, so please call them to make sure.

Dr. Rhee is absolutely amazing. We originally took our boy with autism and after seeing how quickly she was able to help him in so many areas (appetite, sleep, emotions, speech to name a few) we are now all patients. Our teenager is less anxious, sleeps better and loses his acne. Husband went for low back pain and sees improvement, I went for migraine headaches and carpal tunnel and having a wow experience too. Very knowledgeable doctor who can help with array of issues. Highly recommend!
