My grandson started his classes here over a year ago and he enjoys it greatly! The coaches are very involved with their students and the love and care they show for each one is highly commendable. Respect, discipline, and honor are shown from both the coaches and the students. They have high expectations and the students perform well within the home, their school, and the community.
Three to four-year-olds love physical activity and anything involving play. They have a rich imagination and strong desire to be less dependent on their usual caregivers. Five and six-year-olds are the most enthusiastic students. They love creativity and problem-solving, which makes them ideal students for our Basic SKILLZ program here at Columbus Martial Arts Academy! We're offering the children of the Community of Columbus and beyond an amazing opportunity to be a part of the structured program introducing basic skill-based training in Martial Arts.
7 - 9 year olds are what most people consider "the golden age." They are proficient in their vocabulary and problem-solving skills, yet they are not at the age where they want complete independence from adults. This makes the teacher-student relationship stronger than ever. Oftentimes, 7-9 year olds still lack core skills, and although they are highly intelligent, they struggle to keep up with students ages 10 and up.
Columbus Martial Arts Academy is the perfect place for your 10 - 14-year-old! Students between the ages of 10 and 14 are both stronger and smarter than they know! They are physically competent and can excel in most physical challenges that are presented to them. We've discovered they spend a large amount of time focused on what is socially acceptable.

My son had been attending Columbus Martial Arts for about 1 1/2. He enjoys coming to class and I’ve seen progress. He suffer for ADHD and I saw improvement in how to control his hyperactivity. Adicional to that his been teaching how to be a leader, how to deal with different situations. A great kids-friendly atmosphere. The staff is friendly and the coaches are patient and knowledgable. The coaches will make sure to find the class best fit for your children. Highly recommend!

We sent our son to CMA to teach him to fight. This Academy is more of a leadership prep school that teaches not only fundamentals, but also character as a part of the child's foundation. It has been a blast getting to know the staff as they get involved in many facets of my son's life. He can't wait to come every week to see his coaches and go to "ninja class". His behavior and focus are much improved and we are very appreciative. I highly recommend Columbus Martial Arts Academy.

Josiah has been apart of Columbus Martial arts for about a month now. He loves it and so do I! For me, the 1-2 minutes of individual attention is great. They ask how they are doing in school, how was their day and things of that nature. I also love how the coaches discuss how important it is to behavior, pay attention, and do your best not just in class but also at home and school. Josiah loves the games at the end of class too. One final thing, Josiah had an eyelash in his eye and it was irritating him bad. The coach went over to him, figured out the problem, and coached him on rubbing his eye

My daughter started about two months ago. She absolutely loves class days. She is working hard and pushing to excel. This is a complete 180 to how she was 6 months ago. The coaches are amazing. They truly care about each student and helping them achieve their goals. We can’t say enough great things about the staff and coaches.

From day 1, I’ve been extremely impressed. The coaches are amazing and the atmosphere is always very welcoming. My daughter has been apart of the program since January and I have absolutely no regrets. Big Thank you to Coach Mike for all his hard work and dedication with black belt club! It’s not only always a learning experience each class but my daughter truly enjoys martial arts ! If you are interested in your child being apart of a martial arts program, this is the place to go! You definitely won’t regret it!

This academy is amazing! We are a military family and move every few years. I wanted somewhere for my son to go and feel a sense of stability. As well as to build his confidence, discipline and strength. We decided to give CMA a try and we don’t regret it one bit!! All of the coaches are amazing with the kids! They really take the time to listen and teach them. I also appreciate that they take the time to talk and listen with the parents about any concerns that we might have. Coach Tiler is the best! My 5 yr old son always looks forward to working with him! I love that he leaves there feeling

Columbus Martial Arr has been a very positive experience for both of my children who are 5 and 10. Coaches are all very involved and their patience with each child as they learn creates a really positive experience. Coach Ken really pushed my oldest to perform to his fullest potential. While maintaining a positive and fun experience for him. Only downside to the program is the cost is a little steep, but they do have different promotions and will work with you were they can. Overall it has been a great experience and both kids look forward to attending class each day
