Sometimes we just need to relax and enjoy the moment. With a Relaxation Massage at Akossage, your tension will melt away. Sometimes the feeling is related to melting butter. As your therapist kneads your muscles, toxins and tension are flushed and your physical state begins to change. While you are lying on the table, you will begin to drift into a state of leisure and repose.

Ashiatsu is a modality of bodywork that applies therapeutic pressure to promote health and well-being. Ashiatsu literally means (ashi) foot (atsu) pressure in Japanese, the use of the elbows, palms, fingers and knees, where necessary, are also techniques that are utilized. Ashiatsu massages are done on the massage table.
Imagine entering a healing place where you lie down on a Thai Mat in loosely fit clothing, being comfortably stretched in all sorts of positions by your therapist to help facilitate your body's ability to heal itself through proper energy flow. It was my first time getting a shiatsu foot massage, but it certainly won’t be my last! Ako is a professional expert in her craft. I’ve had many massages in my life, from many different masseuses. I can say with confidence that Ako truly understands the body’s energy, allowing her to appropriately diagnose & treat ailments. The drive to Ako’s location in Dublin is lengthy for me(30-45min) but I am happy to make the journey, because I know it will be worth it! I also greatly appreciate being able to receive e-receipts for my massage service, since I am only able to pay using my FSA.

Ako is amazing!!! She really listens to what your body needs and adjusts the massage according to that..she is lovely to talk to and will teach you along the way how to better take care of your body as well. Highly recommend Ako and her place is clean, quiet and peaceful which is the perfect setting for the message. Highly recommend her!

I had a four-handed massage there for my birthday, and it was HEAVENLY! The whole time I felt taken care of while they worked on me. Several times I dozed off, which goes to show how relaxed I was.
If the opportunity is there and I'm in the mood, I might try some of their other massages. It's totally worth the money.

Ako was really great. She listened to my needs and adjusted accordingly. The location of her spa is super convenient with plenty of free parking. The space was neat and clean....very relaxing and inviting. Communication was spot on and booking was simple. The massage itself was wonderful!! Will definitely be back!

This places was absolutely Amazing, and the staff was outstanding. This place makes you feel comfortable and utterly relaxed not to mention that they are extremely friendly, kind, and warm. I can honestly say it was a wonderful welcoming experience that'd I'd be happy to repeat. You will enjoy this place and all it has to offer, I highly recommend that you try it, once you do you'll see how truly amazing it is.

I had an appointment but was asked to come 1/2 later. I did and Ako still had customer. Was told to wait. I got in my car headed home 3 minutes later she called said its ok. I decided not to ho back because how could she possibly clean for Covid. She said she had Asian customer with 3 kids and she had cleaned. I do not think so. Ako said "well the asian kids are cleaner than American kids". Unbelievable. Also, i had bought several hundred dollars of gift cards while she was closed during Covid shutdown. I noticed they had an expiration so now i have lost that money. Go there at your own

Ako is a healer, simply put. We have been going to her for years and she is the best masseuse I’ve ever experienced. But she is so much more. She creates a soothing environment and will work your muscles with massage and deep stretch, and leave your mind calm or at peace depending on the state you enter her space. She’s helped me work through physical and emotional injuries. Highly recommend. Would give more stars if they were available.

"What do you like about this business?" EVERYTHING! Ako is the best. It is the most amazing massage. But, also, she is warm, welcoming, supportive and relaxing. A massage with Ako can be very therapeutic and help relieve pain or soothing and relaxing. She listens to her clients and adjusts to each person's needs. I first found Akossage 10 years ago, in Upper Arlington, for a Reflexology visit. She massaged and wrapped my legs in hot towels; washed my feet in a bowl of hot water and then used her hands, and a metal instrument, on my feet. I was pleasantly surprised at her different approach from other places I had been and became a regular client. Then, recently, I was the victim of an automobile accident. I was in need of serious stress relief after a visit in Columbus. I read Yelp reviews and went on a few websites linked to those reviews. I wish I could list the poor massage or spa experiences I've had in the United States. More awful than excellent. I enjoy a luxurious place as much as the next woman--but I am no longer going to try out another overpriced spa with a revolving door of massage therapists who simply don't have talent, knowledge and spiritual devotion to their work. Best in Columbus. This place is incredible. I've been here twice now. What stands out the most is how caring and thoughtful it is here. After my first massage, they explained what it meant that I carried most of my stress where I did. I've never been to such a holistic place before. They go above and beyond. I won't go anywhere else from now on.

My boyfriend and I had a couple's massage with them. The lady massaged me and her husband massaged my boyfriend. They were both very friendly and talked to us both throughout the session so it wasn't awkward. The place is small, but it was decorated very nicely and felt homey. My boyfriend has had bad shoulders from baseball and boxing and he said that his shoulders felt better after the massage. The lady that massaged me managed to get my neck the most relaxed it's ever been before. I work a lot on computers so I am constantly staring down and she made my neck and upper back feel
