I have stayed here 3 times. The first time we were a family of 4 in a room, for a wedding in 2007. We used the pool and hot tub. The second time I was visiting my daughter in college and I used the hot tub and gym in 2018. This time I was visiting family in the area for Christmas and needed some personal space and my own bathroom. My stay this time was very short and I didn't use the pool, hot tub, or gym. But I did eat the breakfast which was great-eggs, potatoes, and sausage. They have many more options as well. Front desk is attentive, friendly, and efficient. The room was clean and quiet

Always have a nice stay here staff is always super friendly the free cocktail hour in the evening is great and the breakfast in the morning is wonderful but the pool is way too small and as nice and decent as the rooms are I think they're overrated and overpriced especially compared to a couple others there in town

What a beautiful place to stay. The service is top notch. The staff is readdmy and willing to help you with anything. The housekeeping staff is just amazing and kept our room clean and inviting. The pool was closed but we are here in October. They have a nice gym but no bike. I can't use treadmill so that was our only thing I have negative. You also receive complimentary breakfast buffet for each day you stay. And it is real food not milk and cereal in a microwave.

Stayed here for two nights and is probably the best hotel experience I've had. Looks exactly like the picture which is very nice. Our first room had a smell but the man at the front desk was glad to move us to another room a few doors down. The location is great too, right next to target and the shopping center. Will definitely be staying here again when I come visit!

Great place to stay and rest up. I'm here on business and the room is just what's needed after a long day of hard work. Great beds & pillows, well maintained, friendly staff ready to help, great breakfast buffet in the mornings. They even let me take a breakfast burrito to go as my lunch for the day. Plus two free drinks of your choice each night you stay. Rooms cleaned every day for the duration of your stay. Really awesome place. Would highly recommend

We have stayed here many times over the years and have always been pleased. Nice staff, clean, and convenient. Just recently the update has improved the look of the hotel except that the closet has been removed and now you just hang your clothes out in the room. I find that odd.
Unfortunately the price has increased so much that we can't plstay here anymore. Just tried to book a room for two nights and it was over $500. Way too much. Sorry to say we will have to find somewhere else from now on.

I travel over 250 days a year for work so it’s safe to stay I have stayed in a lot of hotels. This is by far one of the best I have ever stayed in. The staff is phenomenal. I called front desk to see if I could come get an extra blanket and they wouldn’t let me. They insisted they bring it to me. Any questions or concerns are always handled immediately. Rooms are spacious and beds are extremely comfortable. Hotel has a very welcoming and home away from home feel. I was contemplating on moving to a hotel where I could earn points, but after checking into this one, I’m here for the remainder

We have stayed at Oxford suites many at times and the main reason we stay here is for their nice heated pool especially since we have little ones. We called ahead and made sure it was open and working and all and they said yes by reservation. No problem we understand that. Yet we were very disappointed when we waited around for our turn and went into the pool only to find it very very cold. Turns out the heaters were broken. There was no sauna/steam room. We definitely wouldn't have stayed here if we had been told the truth. When we mentioned that to the front desk there was no apology or

Pleasantly surprised with this establishment. Thankfully, the photos of the renovated rooms are accurate. Rooms and common areas (including floors) look clean. They have a pool and gym you can reserve to use. Note that the gym equipment is slightly is limited (eg and an outdated elliptical) but that's first world problems right? It definitely gets the job done. Great hotel BUT it is next door to Walmart and Walmart has a speaker equal to that of levi football stadium. It makes Covid mask and time announcement at full volume till 3am in the morning then starts back up at 5am and it's every 15 and 5 minutes. I called the front desk and they brought me ear plugs but because I was there for a surgical procedure post op. for rest. I couldn't use the ear plugs. I called the police and they said they'd go over there but no change. I didn't sleep all night except from 3:30-5 am. The hotel made no amends to the problem or my troubles. They

So we made a reservation in advance and specifically requested to not be on the ground floor. We have stayed at this Oxford Suites more than a dozen times with our pets and have stayed on every floor. One time they put us on the Ground Floor and it was awful. Hallway and exterior noise and lights from cars in the parking lot. On Thursday, we arrived to check in and Kentta, the evening manager, because we have pets, refused to put us on any floor except the Ground Floor. I really did not appreciate getting a phone call from the front desk at 10:30 pm (I'm asleep) to tell me i didn't leave a credit card for incidentals. I Obviously had, thats standard procedure during any check in.
She said, "No you left a expedia card". I don't even know what that is.
I was told I needed to come downstairs immediately and give them a credit card. I came downstairs, they were rude, unapologetic. I will never stay here again and advise all my traveling friends the same.

Great customer service at the front desk, I believe his name is CJ - very kind and charming. (He gets 5 stars) what is prompting my 3 stars is the breakfast crew! - guests cannot touch the food, but the cooks can, with that being said... the gloves being used had to have been used since breakfast started, or maybe before.. (@ 7AM, I went down around 9:15AM) one man had HOLES IN HIS GLOVES, rolling a breakfast burrito. So what's the point of the gloves? tossed the burrito and the juice in the TRASH. I'm disgusted, even if we weren't in a pandemic. Change your gloves?

We where very Impressed with Taylor as she quickly Got Us checked in , and then give us our coupons for drinks at the bar Told us about the free breakfast in the morning . Taylor also told us about the free Shuttle bus That takes you to the Sierra brewery. The rooms here are very comfortable with a large TV and refrigerator, microwave and Kereg coffee in the morning. We had 2 large Queen size Beds, there is also a sofa sleeper in here very roomy.

Really a nice place to stay in Chico. the rooms are spacious, and super quiet. Keyless (card) entries. Beds and pillows are the absolute best. Micro, WiFi, HD, fridge and single cup coffee and tea maker. Sauna, steam, Gym, pool. Great location adjacent to copious eateries, and a Super-Sized Walmart. Pet Friendly too...

I cannot believe this hotel can get away with charging these outrageous room rates post the Camp Fire! We stayed here June 10th -June 13th 2019 and paid an average of $189 per night. The rooms were very outdated, the sofa cushions did not match and there were burn holes in it and worst of all; the fold out bed had urine stains on it.
We do a lot of traveling and this was by far The worst hotel we've ever stayed at.
The pool is a joke for the size of the hotel; it only goes 5 feet deep. I've seen doughboy pools with a bigger perimeter than the one at this hotel.

This hotel has a great location - very close to a mall and several chain restaurants/shopping centers. It's in short walking distance from an IHOP, Krispy Kreme, In N Out Burger, and Olive Garden, to name a few chain eateries! The shuttle service to the Sierra Nevada brewery is a must! The hotel could definitely use a larger parking lot though!
The shower had great water pressure, but the base of the shower itself was very squeaky and loud. When you stepped anywhere in the shower pan, it seemed to flex against the sub floor causing noise.

The room I was in was a good size. I assume it was a standard room with a king sized bed. There was a sofa as well, and your generic desk and dresser drawer. The TV was small, the fridge was a smidge larger than normal. AC worked fine, and the lamps on the nightstands have USB plugs, but I can't remember if the desk had one.
Water pressure was ok, but not great. Their shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are in mid sized pump containers, which I like since it reduces waste. Hand soap was in the same pump action
