Duplicate Bill of Sale will not be issued - you will have to get a surety bond following Alaska State Laws. There is a 10% buyers premium with cash payment and a 15% premium with credit card payment. After you have paid and picked up your paper work, take your packet and vehicle to Alaska Auto Titles to have it inspected and the title put in your name.

They do absolutely nothing to help you. The two girls at the desk misdirected me on where to go to get documents for my friends car to get it out of towing. when i came back they told me i needed an appointment to get it out. they also stole my friends charger out of the car. the appointment was made the next day but i had to pay more money to get it out. in the end it was over $1000 to get it out for 4 days it was there. not including their fees. expect stuff to go missing from your vehicle. definitely wasn’t cash money of them to do that to us.

My brother car was towed to this business and he forgot his wallet in there, when we went back to get it the money was gone and the wallet was opened. We ask them about it and they said they are contracted by APD therefore they don't steal and the guy that answered us said he was the only one who apparently touch the car. So we asked him and he said he don't know and then accused my brother for lying. I know my brother had that money in his wallet bc my nephew gave him 500 after he got paid the evening before. So when he came with his head down and said the money was missing i believe him. So watch

My car was stuck in an awkward and worrisome situation. Another company I called had a three hour wait, and Vulcan arrived immediately. From the moment I called, throughout the tow, I was treated with professionalism and warmth. Instead of increasing my embarrassment, the person I spoke with on the phone and the tow operator, Kirk, were reassuring and supportive. On top of that, it was AMAZING to watch Kirk maneuver my car out of a tricky spot. I had to sign a damage waiver, but he went to great lengths to minimize damage that seemed inevitable. I don't enjoy writing bad reviews but when a company proves to be incompetent I feel I should warn other possible customers .
I had to take my car to the shop .I went to Agens Automotive .( review coming )
They called me the next day and told me my problem was computer related and they advised me to have it towed to the dealer.
I called Vulcan towing at 2:45pm . I told them Agen's closes at 5:30 and they had to pick it up before then . My appointment with Chrysler was at 7:15 a.m.the next day , Friday . They assured me that wouldn't be a problem .
At 5:28 the tow truck driver called

I needed a jumpstart on my car and called to ask if they do that. The lady was very short and said yes then didn't add anything else so I finally had to prompt her for more information. She said it would be an hour long wait and $65. That's insane! Even a cab company will do it for $25, problem is not everyone has cables or ones long enough to reach. I'm not surprised my this considering my boyfriends car was towed and the title is in the car. They told us there was a fee to even retrieve just that then added all these additional fees on top of the fees they list online and the fees

Nothing against the drivers. I'm sure the drivers are all good guys who are great at their job. That said, this company does business for the city impounding vehicles from people who owe the Municipality money so that the vehicles can be held for ransom. That's the real situation. You can try to dress it up with legal words all you want but that's exactly what it is: they're taking the cars for ransom. The city then allows Vulcan Towing to charge the customer incredibly high rates as their end of the deal.

Kirk was so incredibly helpful! He was prompt, professional and also friendly. Not only did he help me out big time by towing my car safely, he also helped get my boyfriend find a AAA guy to get our keys out of his locked car. Needless to say it was a rough day for us, but Kirk and Vulcan made it bearable by being helpful and smooth. 100% would recommend! Thanks again!

What ever you do DONT pay it you as an alaskan resident are protected by Alaska state Ordinance code 9.54.070 section C subsection 3 that states any tow operation may not charge the owner of a vehicle a fee in order to retrieve animals or personal possesions (not actual quote from ordinance code) in short they are holding your

He gave reasonable price and came quickly. Once there he charged battery of suv to have power assist to get suv onto ramp to be hauled. Was respectful with hubby around. Once at storage place with just me he refused to let suv off ramp unless i paid EXTRA for the charge. Which of course he didnt say anything about that before hooking up or charging in the first place. So it ended up being almost twice the original price quoted.

Horrible service! I wanted to get my truck towed from Anchorage to Wasilla. My car was broken into, so the key couldn't get in. The tow truck could not tow my truck to Wasilla, because the wheels on my car couldn't turn! JOKE OF A TOWING COMPANY! Than they charged me $80 to go less than 5 miles to a car shop! CON's! The driver even mentioned "if I have to put my chains on my truck, I'm charging you an extra $20!!!! Joke of a towing company! Pay extra and use someone else!

They say they are the good guys for a reason. Gee whiz, with a name like Vulcan, you just gotta love 'em. I mean c'mon now. I have had to use their services a couple of times, and each time has been efficient and professional, with a touch of humor during a stressful situation. They towed a vehicle a vehicle I previously sold and sent me the bill. Even after I told them I had a bill of sale as well as a pending DMV title transfer they told me they were going to take me to collections if I didn't pay. I shouldn't pay a bill for property that isn't mine and the fact that they plan on putting a red mark on my credit to try and bully me into paying them is messed up.

The good thing about a towing company leaving you in the lurch is that you have plenty of time to write them the review they deserve while waiting for another tow company to come get you...
I continue to have my F250 stuck with a flat on JBER right now because Vulcan told me a driver would be coming within 90 minutes of my call and no one ever arrived. When I called the company back, after sitting on hold with the most excruciating, awful jazz flute elevator music for 10 minutes, I was told they were unable to locate or contact their driver.
Pretty unprofessional the whole way around. You are
