You can sometimes find relief from a toothache by rinsing around the tooth with warm salt water. This will help clean the area and remove any food particles. If you notice swelling, you can use an ice pack or a cold compress near the area. You may also get pain relief from over the counter medications.

Dr. Hallock is an excellent dentist and is very thorough in his approach. Dr.Hallock and his staff have the tools to practice the latest in dental technology. I've been going to Wilmington Family Dental for many years and have been treated for a number of the dental problems. It's been my experience that Dr. Hallock practices painless dentistry, which is one of the reasons I will continue to see him.

Everyone is very professional and addressed all my questions. I was concerned about repeat X-rays, and if my insurance would pay for them. I recently moved from Florida and they were willing to accept my films I had done in February. They explained everything in detail. They have the latest technical equipment. I was glad to hear they make their… own caps the same day, no temporaries and waiting days. I believe Chelsea was my technician. She explained everything and worked in my “cleaning” on the initial visit. She explained their hours for future visits. I was 100% satisfied

Wilmington Family Dental is awesome. My wife started going there and I decided to make the switch based on all the great things she kept talking about! Everyone that I have met or interacted with so far has… been wonderful and I love the technology they have to provide the best treatments and solutions for everyone. I don’t love doctor or dentist appointments, but I enjoy everyone there...and that’s the “tooth”.
