Loki is my 1st experience with acupuncture and I am a believer! I have been going to him for 5 months now and what a difference in everything from my allergies to my sciatica. He has helped in ways that western med doctors have not been able to for years. So glad to have found him! And his sliding scale payment makes it affordable for just about everyone. Highly recommend.

I've been coming here for several years now and I'm pretty bummed about how much they're raising the prices. When I was there in July the price went from a sliding scale of $20-40 to $25-45... No big deal. And then I checked their website today at the price is now $35-55! I checked the other community based acupuncture clinics in town and their prices are still the same : /

Ok. Pretend it's dark
And warm
And humid
And a stranger has acupuncture needles - for you
How do you know if they're in the right place?
You don't unless it hurts
What happens when the needles hurt after placement?
Good question, because your acupuncturist has left the room to sit in the cool, relaxing lobby.
Until he brings another person into the room and guides them to their chair
So you sit in the warm humid dark and try to pull out the ones that hurt yourself.
And promise yourself never to try this again.

I really like the concept of Communi-Qi. A large dark room with comfortable recliners. Multiple clients at a time, but I never felt that I wasn't getting complete attention. The costs are kept lower this way with no sacrifice of quality. Loki is great and three weeks of headaches were gone in one visit!

I appreciate this place immensely. The environment and the staff immediately make you feel better. I've been going weekly for a few months, and it has led to marked improvement in my well-being. Loki is amazing!
Also, the sliding scale $20-40 makes it completely affordable, and they never push herb purchases, just offer you suggestions to consider.
A big thanks to them!

I'm a big, big fan of community acupuncture in general - maximizes availability of services, minimizes cost, and some believe it even increases the effectiveness of treatments. I'm thrilled with this facility in particular due to a fabulous location in terms of both convenience and the atmosphere in the treatment space, and really accessible hours. Online scheduling is a possibility also which is a big plus for those of us who have too many calls to make during business hours and can't always fit in one more. I have received help with both physical injuries and the ups and downs

I have seen a lot of acupuncturists in Santa Cruz, but no one has helped my allergies as much as Megan at CommuniQi! Every time I come here I leave feeling so much better. She has taught me how to change my diet and lifestyle so my body doesn't react to allergens like it used to. Aside from the amazing treatments, it is the most affordable acupuncture I have had in Santa Cruz. CommuniQi has the winning combo of successful treatments, affordability, and a caring environment. Thank you Megan and CommuniQi Acupuncture!

I could not be happier with my experience at Communi-Qi. I am very kinesthetic and have always depended on my hands to do carpentry, crocheting, and play sports, so when I began feeling pain and numbness in my hands I was very worried. After 6 visits spread over 3 weeks my hands feel as strong as ever and I'm able to continue playing sports and doing art. I had acupuncture sessions with all 4 acupuncturists and enjoyed every experience. I plan to continue visiting this clinic on a regular basis. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for low priced quality acupuncture.

I've been there a handful of times and loved it. I had never tried acupuncture before, and was a bit nervous, but there was no need for that. Debbie was very welcoming, knowledgeable and just has a really soothing nature about her. I told her my concerns, sat down in a chair the community room (each time I've gone there has been only 1-2 other people in there), Debbie did her thing and..Insta-Nap. It's amazing. I love acupuncture, and I love communi-qi! I highly recommend it.

The people here are absolutely wonderful! I was a little nervous about my first acupuncture experience earlier this year, but the team here makes you feel totally confident and comfortable. Both the environment and the practitioners are warm and soothing. I've seen Debbie, Megan and Loki at different times and each individual made me feel comfortable and most importantly, heard. They listen to any concerns you might have and needle accordingly. I leave every time feeling relaxed and refreshed. A huge bonus, they're totally affordable! Pay on a sliding scale based on what you can
