Narrows Lodge Resort
The Narrows Family Resort is a rustic camping resort beautifully situated along Blue Lakes, CA, a natural chain of deep-water, spring fed lakes nestled between picturesque Lake and Mendocino counties. Boasting the cleanest air in California, this region is the perfect getaway to reconnect with nature, family and friends.

Blue Lakes is no-wake, crystal clear body of water where you can spend all day floating, paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing or visiting one of the local rope swings. But for those not quite ready for too much of the wilderness, the Narrows Family Resort offers a full collection of RV, Cabin and Motel accommodations to suit every budget and group.
Services
RVS - You must be self-contained, THERE ARE NO PUBLIC BATHROOMS. We do not have a maximum length for trailers, but keep in mind the Lakefront sites are more narrow, so multiple slideouts will be snug. Max of 6 people per site, including children. We do not allow early check-ins or late check-outs, NO EXCEPTIONS.
The Narrows Family Resort is nestled just south of the Mendocino National Forest, in Lake County, CA. The Resort makes an excellent base camp to get out and explore the wonders of beautiful Northern California. Thank you to all those who participated and espicially all of my family and friends that helped.

Very nice people, but also very, very campy. Bring your own towels (a non starter for anybody packing their bags for airplane travel), bring your own coffee grounds lol, not a single place within a 15 minute drive that sells it. Very overpriced for what ya get, but nice people.

Best camping thus far! We were lucky to be able to book the lakeside RV campsites (#60, 61, 62, and 63) The lake is so beautiful…nothing like waking up in a beautiful lakeside campsite. Angie, the host was very friendly and toured us around. We will be back for sure! Thanks, Angie and family!

Glamping at its finest. The whole lake is a no-wake zone, ideal for paddleboarding and kayaking. You can buy the essentials on site such as coffee and ice. We booked again right away!

We stayed in a yurt over the Labor Day holiday. We easily fit 8 people in it comfortably. The beds were really comfortable too. All the kids caught fish and we all had a blast. Looking forward to next year!

Love Angie and her family! They have taken over and made the Narrows such a wonderful place to visit. We go every year, spend a week, and have a wonderful time. My 10 year old Sebastain starts looking forward to it the minute we leave and is pretty much sad the remainder of the year until we go back.

This is one of the most amazing places that I have ever been to, this is an excellent place to bring your family, the only downside is if you're not a frequent you have to make your plans 3 years in advance.

The new owners have done a wonderful job cleaning up the resort. They are very friendly and take pride in what they do. Our family of 4 stayed in the yurt for 3 nights, and it worked out perfectly for us. The yurts are spacious and have comfortable beds. They provide a large fan, electrical outlets for charging devices, a mini fridge, free wifi. Outside you have a picnic table and charcoal bbq. They offer boat, kayak and paddle board rentals for very reasonable prices.
We rented the small pontoon boat for 4 hours and it was the highlight of our trip. The lake is beautiful and the grounds are kept

Great place. Been bought by new owners. There remodeling all the places fixing it up nicely. Very great atmosphere and people. Beautiful lake with good fishing. Will be making this our new spot. Used to go to Pine Acres. But they have only went up in price and have had no changes or upkeep and closed the snack bar year's back.

This time we were here the first week of November. We decided to try a luxury Yurt. This two bedroom yurt, the Quail, also has a nice bathroom with shower, kitchenette unit and deck out front and is located a stones throw from the lake and boat/fishing docks. In case you aren't familiar, a yurt is a canvas round tent. It has a skylight and this one also has a remote control fan and light under the skylight. The owners even fashioned a frame inside the yurt to support two house-grade windows that can be opened. The front entrance also has a screen door which was great to leave open when the

We had a great time with 4 different groups of family and friends. The new owners Angie and Craig are awesome and make you feel welcomed. There are a number of different accommodations including tents, RV/Campers, Yurts/luxury yurts, cabins and even motel rooms. We stayed in the Bluejay cabin and Robin yurt with two families including 6 kids and had lots of room to sleep, cook and party. It's located right on the lake and we floated on tubes up and down the lake, rented a pontoon boat for a day on the lake. Great fishing too. Hope to be back again this summer!

This is my second time at this resort. It is under new ownership and they are making improvements all the time. We stayed in cabins this time, but would be interested in a yurt the next time. During COVID there is no tent camping so the park was pretty empty, which was great for us. We didn't have to compete for boat rentals. We had the dock for fishing to ourselves. The new owners were super friendly and very accommodating. It was a short stay but we hope to do it again for longer in the future.

It's like they think you can plan for a natural disaster to hit. They have a 30 day cancellation policy with no exceptions - even when it would be the humane thing to do. Our county is being ravished by unprecedented fires and the area is blanketed with smoke. I tried to explain to the woman that the air quality, even out that way, is listed as "very unhealthy" on the government air quality site and it is not safe for my father. She gave no exception, no credit towards a future stay, nothing, even in the face of a natural disaster. She had no compassion and said she was "still

My husband and youngest son spent a recent weekend in the big cabin. Accommodations were clean and comfortable and the owners went out of their to make them feel like family. It appears the entire resort has been spruced up and new construction of four luxury/camping yurts looks promising. They had a great time out on the lake and can't wait to go back! Thank you Angie & Craig!

This place has been me and my two sisters favorite camp spots for years now. It is nestled up in the most hidden-away area of Blue Lakes and it is just stunning.

New owners have purchased the property and have instilled a LOT of new rules, however... Some seem to be for the better, some I could never agree with. We will see in the coming years if this will remain the same family-friendly and enjoyable place we have known it to be for so long.

But please, I beg you, keep it fun and keep it feeling like home to all.. not just the new owners.

First visit back in the last 2 summers.

Good news, the place has been cleaned up with more to come, and the new ownership indicated they have a long way to go. It's only been 3 1/2 months since they took over.

I've already booked another weekend in a couple of weeks to stay there again.

If I could give a suggestion I would ask them to revisit the checkout times for the RV and Tent Sites.

You check in at 3:00 pm( so you really don't get a lot of time to enjoy the beach) and check out at 11:00 am. If you want to have late checkout, they hit you with a day use fee. Tent and RV

This was our 2nd time staying here, 1st since the new owners and we had a blast. Labor Day weekend was perfect hot lake weather! Our RV spot was snug, however we were on the grassy area above the beach if not swimming the whole time. My boys got a kick out of kayaking across the lake to rope swing! We typically rv camp in larger KOA campgrounds, but there is something charming about a cute family owned location. Already booked for next year!

I stayed at this resort on Labor Day weekend in the small house. I had a wonderful time and I think the new owners are trying to upgrade and clean out the riff raff. The new owners, Dad, Mom, Daughter, & Son in law were all very nice, & accommodating. My dog was barking and she let me know and I appreciate that as I wouldn't want to have to listen to a barking dog! If I had 1 suggestion it would be to add more information on the website, such as what is included in the cabins, beds, linens,(linens could use upgrading, I brought my own) kitchen stuff. I had to call twice to figure out

Labor Day weekend here is incredible. Celebrating my daughters birthday since she could walk and now....I am not sure if I would ever go back.

Our regular crew that we have met up there hasn't returned either. Ever since Art and Sharon left the magic of this place went with them. The new owners Daughter is something else. Stuck on a power trip and high horse! Absolutely rude and they way she

We just got home from a 3 night stay at The Narrows....we had a great tent site just steps from the lake front. Lots of families and kids having good old fashioned fun....swimming, inner tubing, jumping off the dock, rope swinging, fishing, boating and kayaking. It has just recently opened up again under new ownership. The new owners are really friendly and helpful and are doing an awesome job cleaning the place up and making many improvements. The road getting there is a bit tricky if you're going with a larger rig, but it's manageable if you adhere to their check in and check out times

We had the best time fishing! My wife and I have 2 small children and we rented a pontoon boat and caught a bunch of fish. We have gone fishing dozens of times or the last few years at many different places but this is the first time we caught anything. When I was young my grandfather took me trout fish at the Blue Lakes. I have not fished here in 20 years. I'm so happy we went to the narrows. It is under new ownership and they bought a old and a little bit of a run down place but they are working very hard to fix it up. We can't wait to go back.

I just spent two days and nights at this campground. The place has new owners. Bringing lots of energy and upgrades to the campground. Very family orientated. Clean with nice swiming area. I did not catch any fish but other people did catch some nice trout. Lots of bluegills for the first time children fishing. They had a blast catching there first fish. I totally recommend this place. They have tent camping or camping cabins. Close to Ukiah and Lakeport. Looking forward to returning. Came back very rested and refreshed

OMG! Do not, I repeat, do not book this place if you are traveling in a class A, or any rig you care about! We were told ahead of time that the roads were narrow but very doable in our size rigs. This was not our experience at all. Considerable damage from scraping. Once you start down the road, you can't turn back! The park itself was bare bones, with questionable sewer and electric hookups. One star review because they didn't charge us when we decided to leave instead of staying. We ended up at the Willits KOA instead.

Art and his wife have been running the narrows for about 20 years, they have upgraded the motel and have a few cottages for rent on top of tent and RV camping.

The kids jump and play dock needs a new carpet (it's tore up and I'm sure a small expense). They have 3 larger boats for rent for fishing etc, they also have a few paddle boats, air on site to blow up rafts. A small selection of drinks, ice, snacks.

They no longer have bands that play and it would be great to see that come back. There is a gate added to the premises (great if you have kids) you have to call anytime you leave
